Is that party established as a matter of fact? Didn't hear it mentioned in Parliament today

Johnson was asked about it by a Labour MP and he trotted out the usual line about Covid regulations being followed. In fact he was asked if he would confirm that it took place and he just said, 'No', meaning of course that he wouldn't confirm it, rather than that it didn't take place.

Why would they have held a ‘mock’ press conference about a party that never took place, just 4 days after the party was said to have taken place (the Stratton video dates from December 2020)? Or is this part of the brilliant scenario planning which has served us so well recently, preparing us for every potential issue except pandemic, gas price inflation, unexpected withdrawals by our allies from occupied territories….etc, etc

Here we go... Press conference and new restrictions coming up. Plan B (I don't know what the B stands for) but expect new rules on travel passports.

That related to the 18th December alleged party. But the Cummings leaving celebration took place over a month earlier, and I can't see that anyone is claiming a breach of lockdown for that.

Good job I didn’t expect you to answer the question. Let’s forget Cummings and specifically find a reason for practicing answering questions about a party which they deny happened.

Here’s one, they knew there had been a party, they knew that this broke the government’s COVID rules, and they expected it to be leaked. They wanted to practice lying to people, though they don’t really have to practice that hard, they are doing it all the time. Bet they are surprised it took so long to come out.

No one's saying he was there, merely that he must have known about it and has therefore consistently lied about it.

Do you reckon he knew about the party that his wife threw to celebrate her getting rid of Cummings?
I have no idea.

A little cynical, but all suggestions welcome...
