Yes thank goodness GB News has finally given the voiceless a voice.

Indeed. Since all the other tv media are left of centre, it's most welcome. And evening viewing figures are now above BBC and Sky. Of course, those of the Guardian persuasion are angry and fixated about it. Anyone would think they were being forced to watch. Bless

News should be news whatever political allegiance one has. I dont really watch any mainstream news to be fair. Not because (in some peoples opinions) they lean one way or another but because its ****ing depressing seeing what goes on in this country.

If you think it's depressing in this country, Bob, have a look at the rise of Covid on the Continent and the violent demonstrations happening. Look at the poor state of Germany and France's economies. Look at social problems in France. All the tv stations have political bias. But better to watch anyone of them than none at all.

Is there a single member of this pathetic government that have any kind of real idea or knowledge of the actual world around them?

.....and if they honestly don't.....then why on earth don't they do a little research before constantly putting their feet into their mouths? (At least make an effort to try and look remotely competent).
Its like the worst possible person for the job is selected, probably deliberately to make Johnson look slightly better than really ****.

What are your opinions of Johnson, Goldy? Do you think he will be pushed out?

I'm on record here as saying I've never been a fan. He's lazy, can't be bothered with detail and thinks he can get through life by mussing his hair and winging it. I an however grateful to him for getting Brexit done. The catastrophe of the last parliament is now just a bad memory.

His stickability will depend on his popularity in the polls. Lose that, and I expect Rishi Sunak to replace him before the next GE. Boris has to sharpen up his act - I wouldn't bet against him doing that to keep himself in place for now.

Hes all of the things you mention. In my opinion (hopeful) the longer he is PM the more damage he does to the Tory party.

Surprised this hasn't happened sooner. French police apparently watched them set off...

Macron's France 100% to blame. They are indifferent to organised crime, won't allow the UK to help crack it, assist illegal boats into UK water and refuse to take migrants back. I hope the international community come down on Macron and his political games from great height.

Yeah must be France’s fault innit.

Meanwhile we’ve not got round to evacuating those high-risk Afghans we made a big song and dance over promising three months ago.

Could we have not sent them back like we always could have done whilst we were in the EU? I dont really understand the problem, i thought we had taken back control of our borders or does that not count cos it wasnt written on the side of a bus?

This was a problem before Brexit, and the French weren't taking one single migrant back.
