I suppose you have a point though Ellers, MPs should respect rules and standards.....oh the irony
If you cannot respect the house rules then you shouldn’t be there. It’s quite simple
Some MPs ( no party mentioned) can hardly string a sentence together and are as thick as S##t..and they are representing us? <doh> I will add that some like Hancock have acted badly and should also be kicked out.

Actually there are a set of House rules and she broken them. She was asked on 3 occasions by the Speaker to retract her use of the word ‘liar’ but in typical Dawn Butler fashion, she went for the media headlines so people like you on social media can knock the government. She was wrong and was rightly removed from the House. If she is going to be an MP she needs to respect the rules and standards. As I said it’s typical Dawn Butler. Funny how no one mentions her dying support for Jezza and his nasty reign.

She called Johnson a liar and you think she was wrong?

As for respecting rules and standards, you're having laugh, right?

There is no argument. She broke the House rules and was given 3 chances to retract the comments and she didn’t. The speaker was right to kick her out. No one would miss her to be fair as she is f22king hopeless at the best of times.

Theres a clip that went viral of Boris Johnson lying to parliment on numerous occassions. But dont ever call him a liar in parliment. Honestly, theres no such thing as standards in parliment. They even have the cheek to address each other as honourable!

She knew the rules. She was just grandstanding. Few would have heard of her otherwise.

Hats off to that woman Butler for saying it as it is. Its about time a bit of realism entered parliment. Full respect to her for that.

Bob you are sounding like the type who would vote for Butler. You are again missing the point. There are rules and regulations in all walks of life that people obey and respect. If rules are broken it has knock on effects. She Broke the rules and was rightly kicked out. End of.
Sadly the stupid Butler just wanted to grab a few headlines. Which she has as because you are discussing it. I won’t give the idiot anymore airtime. If you and the usual suspects want to discuss her actions then good luck with that. I will say when she left the House the IQ was raised.

Being the devils advocate Bob....Dawnie ain’t too shy in giving out a few ‘innocent mistruths’ herself now is she ?
Hardly a bastion of respectability.
I dont know her mate. But who she is doesnt matter to me, nor what shes done. The point im trying to make which flies over some peoples heads is that someone, at last has had the bollox to stand up and call out our lying PM for being a liar. Parliment is perverse in the fact that you can lie but cant accuse that liar of lying. This is the example from the top that radiates through society.

I dont know her to be able to vote for her where as you would knowingly vote and support for a proven liar. I rest my case. We need better in politics on all sides, its gutter stuff right from the top and refelcts our country as a whole.

But it’s all been done before by far worthy MPs than Butler........remember the great Dennis Skinner and his ‘Dodgy Dave’ comment ?
If not watch it...it’s brilliant

Once again Bob you miss the point.
You don’t call an honourable member of Parliament a ‘lair’ in the House… especially not the PM. You don’t use that language. Starmer calls Boris a lair but never uses that word. She broke the House rule and that’s that.

Could she have said ‘Dodgy’ ?

Slightly before my time mate. I only started to take an interest in politics before the referendum. Prior, i was a standard 'Jack the lad' who thought they were all lying, self serving pompeous ****s. It was the loss of my daughter that first really got me interested when our local lib dem MP helped us through some tough times despite being a stranger. I realised, there are one or two decent politicians out there but unfortunately he lost his place in parliment after the snap election.
