4% pay rise for NHS staff back dated to Dec. As taxpayers, could the SNP explain where the money is coming from? The SNP are not paying these salaries, but the taxpayer. Who or what is being sacrificed for this rise. The financial cake is smaller now than a year ago.

We'll have to wait and see, but it's probably in France's interest to take them back to aid the deterrent. The good people of the North coast of France don't want people smugglers operating where they live either. Maybe a financial inducement from the UK too.

Priti Patel’s statement on refugees was one of the vilest statements I've heard in Parliament.
People seeking asylum have fled war, torture and rape.
Let's be clear - in a deep economic crisis, this aims to blame refugees rather than a rotten economic system for society's ills.

In the past I would have accused him of being stupid however I won’t mock him anymore because he obviously has cognitive issues. Trump was stupid whereas Biden isn't. I had a family member that had similar problems with forgetting things and silly trip ups and it’s not nice. I saw him recently getting frustrated in a speech...he is obviously struggling.
