It's getting boring now Watford.
Funny how people are so quick to talk about democracy in other countries.... funny enough, one is in the news at present? And those same voices are the ones that tried to stop democracy here? F'ing hypocrites.
Watford we have left the EU mate. Move on and support the country that will give you money if you lose your job or look after you in hospital when you eventually need it rather than knock it at every opportunity? Trust me those bods in Brussels won't help you out. They are only interested in the money they get from us.... well that is changing.
I will leave it with this.... lets have 40 years of Brexit and then see if people want to be part of the EU again? only fair way mate.

If you’re going to pretend to be just another thick jingoist then you shouldn’t cry about being treated like one.

These days you get arrested and thrown in jail just for dressing as a buffalo and participating in insurrection.

She's been a poster girl for a few on here, but I reckon she's starting to be found out.

I've moved this over to this thread....

The knives seem to be out for her at the moment. It's funny how the media spin machine has moved on now that Brexit is out of the way.

There's a big split within the SNP so I'm led to believe, those with Sturgeon, and those in favour of Salmond - but it doesn't end there. Some of the old guard SNP members aren't too happy with the bullish way the leadership are pushing the Independance banner whilst failing to halt the decline in some of our services, especially at the moment. They are also worried that if Independance is won that the SNP will become irrelevant as their record on education, health, crime etc is quite poor and once Independance is over these failures will see them lose power - although who to I've no idea as the opposition up here, both Tory and Labour, are a ****ing joke.

Starmer has been espousing a similar view to what I've been saying on here, in saying that more powers should be devolved, thus keeping the Union intact - something that would do well to be rolled out in some of the regions throughout the UK too.. ...

'Status quo isn't working' for Scotland, says Starmer

I understand those that say go easy on Trump and his seditionists for fear of provoking further violence, but that would just be wrong. It would set the absolutely wrong kind of precedent. Jail the seditionists for the maximum sentence and impeach Trump.

Hitler failed on his first attempt.

Has anybody seen the footage of the baying mob at the Capital building entrance bludgeoning police officer Sicknik to death with bars and flagpoles?

It's no wonder to me why the security officer shot the woman in those circumstances. That mob get through the door and who knows who else would have been beaten to death?

Did they give him a warning bludgeoning before the main bludgeoning?

But did they give a warning before attacking him?

Did anyone see the Labour shadow droid on the news this morning? <doh> I seriously give up. What an inept opposition we have for a not so convincing government.

He moaned about the government using the old 'Mixed messages' chestnut only for the reporter to say
Reporter: Only last week Kier Starmer said nurseries should stay open and this week he says close them. is that not mixed messages?
Droid: eer eer...Things have changed. This strain is serious!
Reporter: Isn't that what the government has done though by putting in stricter measures?
Droid: eer eer (Sparks coming out of ears).
Reporter: What tougher measures would Labour add?
Droid: eer eer...Well for a start we would make sure that people social distance in supermarkets. In the first lockdown they were very good but that seems to have been relaxed.
Reporter: <doh> well... eer on to the weather.
Droid: (sparks) mixed messages!

Utter hopeless non electable muppets! This lot are worse than Jezza and his band of idiots. Rather than play politics he would have got more respect by saying it's great that we are vaccinating many people and the government needs to keep that up?

I haven't seen this footage but it's clearly diabolical behaviour by these rioters and they should be hunted down and prosecuted. However, the point in your second paragraph is only good if Sicknick was bludgeoned to death before Babbitt was shot. He wasn't. He was knocked out during that afternoon and died from a blood clot that evening.

Agree rioters should be hunted down and prosecuted. Still think impeachment could be a double edged sword, even if there were the numbers in Congress to vote for it.

Don't understand your point about Hitler. He was imprisoned for treason in the early 1920's. He used his time behind bars to martial his thoughts and write Mein Kampf.

Labour are without doubt the real problem right now and it’s a disgrace this isn’t talked about more.
