So they’ve had a go at the French. Now it’s the Germans. Nice. Classy. Instead of seeing consequences of what they campaigned for, the Daily Mail/ Mail on Sunday are acting like a drunk, ranting hooligan at the bus stop who just hurls mindless abuse at people they don’t like.

They've put it in quotes so she definitely said that.

Agree the tabloid hyperbole doesn't help much. Still think there will be a deal done
Uk membership costs 145 pounds per person (about 10bn net) and guarantees about 1,000 pounds per person per year. This is the price of alledged independence...bur as Boris said f@&£k the economy ( source fake news CBI)

Yes, but have you agreed to tie the UK to Vietnam's social, labour and environmental regulatory structures in perpetuity?

We have now agreed deals with 57 countries, covering £193bn of trade.
This is unprecedented. No country has ever moved so fast to negotiate so many deals simultaneously. Well done to our brilliant negotiators

What is the source of these figures? They weren't used in the Brexit referendum campaign that I remember.

Of course, Brexit was about more than money. The scale of immigration (not the individual immigrants) over the past 15 years was a factor. In my view, our population total was spiraling upwards with gradual damage to the environment. There needs to be a balance maintained.

what do you think of the UKs generous offer to increase our population by an estimated 600,000 Hong Kongers goldy?

It's done, at least partly, under historic obligation, Bobby. So I'm good with it, but it should be taken into account in the overall immigration count for the years we get the influx.
