Do a fast 6km instead
That’s tomorrow mate....6.24km in 31mins 24 secs last week which was a PB.
All about the right combo of fast short runs and long slow runs.....Hoping the Reading Half will be a breeze if I keep this up

Mmm the more you post the more I get the impression that you maybe one of these people that would do stuff like this. It's as if you actually think it's okay to do this?
It won't be happening today though Wills.
I thought you would be at your peaceful demo? I wonder what the risk assessment says? The more you chose to be outraged at a fringe attaching themselves to the blm protest posting **** loads about Any sniff of unlawful acts including that post you were pulled up on, continue ignoring the main message, choosing to not post about the criminal actions such as the Cov fans and others against the movement the more I think that you are purposely trying to stir up emotions against the movement and discredit the main message and law abiding massive majority driving it.
I worry that you post this sorta stuff all over social media, do I think you’re a racist? No, but I do think you are purposely trying to stir up ill feelings from people, which is arguably worse.
Totally agree bob. These statues need to remain so people can ask what/who they are about. Lets not try and cover our history because a few Tarquins are playing BLM this month. One thing for sure to come out of 'statuegate' is knowledge that people have acquired. Having only ever visited the football grounds in Bristol, I was totally unaware of the Colston statue or its representaion/misrepresentation. My lad has learned loads on it, probably more than a term of history classes.

Or John Cleese for his Basil Fawlty rant and goose step and just wait till they ban all of Allo Allo because it is offensive to:No of course not, it is a satirical sketch of its' time. I lived through those times and what made it funny was that it was believable. We are laughing at the policeman's bigotry in the same way that Alf Garnett was laughed at for his outdated views.
Was the statue put up because he was a slave trader or because he donated money to bristolYou're missing the point. Hardly anyone outside of Bristol knew anything about Colston until they tore down his statue.
That wasnt my point Ellers but I think you know thatTotally agree bob. These statues need to remain so people can ask what/who they are about. Lets not try and cover our history because a few Tarquins are playing BLM this month.
I've heard that she has a statue of him in her gardenThe colson stuff was only around because the money earned from his job earned
Was the statue put up because he was a slave trader or because he donated money to bristol
Even strollsie must have done something his mum would be ashamed of
Pull it downI've heard that she has a statue of him in her garden
Always find the idea of pulling down statues rather ridiculous - just about as mindless as the ritual burning of flags. Coulson's company was actually founded by Charles the second, and John Locke and Samuel Pepys were amongst its shareholders - so maybe their statues are at risk as well. Actually the statue of more or less anyone who lived in the 17th Century is at risk - I mean Cromwell's statue could be pulled down by indignant Irishmen as well. We cannot judge historical characters in the same way we judge our contemporaries - there were very few voices raised against slavery in the 17th Century apart from a few Quakers. The colson stuff was only around because the money earned from his job earned

Women
Homosexuals
Transvestites
the French
the Italians
the Germans and of course..................................
the English
Have I left anybody out?
Perhaps not this time because so far as I can recall there were no black or Asian characters.
