When you first mentioned it I had to look it up.......****ing hell...it’s awful !!! No wonder no one wanted it back after the last time
It’s on par with the Ronaldo statue :)
I hear Debbie Harry is worried about her statue? That really would push me over the top.

i should be concerned about your memory then, Wills. :)

(off I pop, back into the shadows...)

You’re right Ubes.......lots of outrage at the time. It was 2000...during the peak of Anti Capitalist/Reclaim The Streets Demos.......

I think that one was called ‘Guerilla Gardening’......where Parliament Square was made into one big garden and McDonald’s on Whitehall got smashed up......what did we achieve ?

**** all actually :)

Free Big Mac?

kinda ****s on the following scientific advice... more Tory misinformation

The fact that they've been constantly telling us that they've 'always followed the science' betrays the fact that they want to be able to blame the scientists when it comes on top. They can't - scientists advise (and there will have been a range of views put forward), but politicians make the decisions. Every decision, whether on lockdown, quarantine, distancing or anything else was a political one and they must be held to account for the fact that we have the worst health outcomes and are predicted to have the worst economic ones.

Very successful indeed. Something to be proud of.
