According to various experts, there doesn't seem to be a problem with kids going back to school. To be honest I have seen/heard that many people have broken the guidelines and social distancing anyway. Also, alarming statistics are showing a rise in abuse (at home) and the young getting anxiety and depression problems. We know that just 2 weeks can affect a child's learning and at home, it is not the best environment... they need school. So I would send them back. They are not the 'super carriers' as once thought at the beginning and rarely get the same symptoms. Regarding mixing with grandparents that's the responsibility of the parents, not the government. There was also worrying news yesterday that 500K have accessed the government suicide prevention course in just 3 weeks.
Your comments on 'right-wings' and economy were stupid and I know you don't believe that Watford. You are the one who keeps saying these types are as 'thick as mince' so I guess most won't be working from home anyway? As for those who can afford to stay at home or are comfortable we shouldn't knock them. They have probably worked hard for many years to be in that position. There are some in our state that sponge and don't want to work. They find any excuse not to... we shouldn't compare.
