Yeah, I'm just asking?
I think we all know this stuff goes on. Same with the dodgy knighthoods and awards. I see so much of this going on that I can't understand why this is even news... actually I can... Cummings.

Also gives us something to talk about other than today’s SAGE news.

You could have watched the alternative one on YouTube with David King (starts at 2 pm for about 3 hours) and his team of experts rom around the world.
*no spoilers* but I can tell you now that it was the government's fault and no one else is to blame.

bob how many jobs have you got through mates or recommendations? like me, I bet you've had a few. As long as no law has been broken, then what's the problem? Is it a problem with ethics?

We can't go criticising the likes of Saddam Hussein or Al Bashir handing out all the roles and government contracts to his mates and then start doing it ourselves.

If this was Boris/Cummings own personal investment vehicles then sure go for it. To start handing out public money to their mates and family stinks to high heavens which is similar to graylings ridiculous decision

Hang on Boris wasn't around when Saddam was getting all those arms... that was Blair.

It's more the thought that we abhor dictators who take money from the public and share it only with their friends and family..... yet here we are doing the same

The important factor here is when recommending/giving out contracts it's being done as an act of a public office? They are spending tax payers money to give their mates and family a cash injection, this is not ok, and corrupt as ****. There should be a tender process where all tenders are accessed equally. There is no way in the ****ing world any business have given Dyson the contract for starters.

Very poor form for anyone defending this, would anyone defend it if QPR would only buy players from one agent, ignoring other players not with him even if they were better players and more suited? Of course we ****ing wouldn't we'd hound those responsible out of the club.

All tendering is supposed to be open and transparent, amazing how often at all levels it just doesn't happen.

As for QPR didn't we spend a fortune on Kia Joorabchian's has beens when Sparkless was boss?...

It’s basically no different to your mate recommending you as a great plumber.

When you’re actually a milkman.

And have no hands.
You are just been stupid now Watford. Stop reading the Guardian, you are becoming more 'doom and gloom' by the day!
Go cheer yourself up on the 'Let's talk about death' and 'Songs at a funeral' thread.

You should come over Ellers......it’s actually been quite enlightening.
Try not to mock...please, you’re better than that. There are some really thoughtful and emotional posts over there and a lot of people are really opening up.....
New beginnings for us all, eh ?
