I don't understand why it's a problem? How many of us get jobs through people we know or because we have been recommended? Most of my contracts are through knowing people/word of mouth or because I have done a good job previously and they trust me. I don't get what the problem is (maybe I'm being naive?) It's probably because it's connected to Cummings. Is it a Guardian story?
