The USA is Ireland’s most important trade partner. Whatever source you got your “facts” from is inaccurate.

The argument has been won though. You found some random headline with false info which doesn’t refute the point that Ireland has a lower debt ratio than us and a lower debt (and higher GDP) per head.

You confuse GDP with actual wealth. As has been pointed out to you, GDP per capita puts us 24th, and our wealth disparity across the social spectrum sees our Nation the subject of a damning UN report on poverty.

Btw our national debt is now approaching £2TR not to mention our state pension deficit at a further £4TR.

You should maybe visit the Emerald Isle and get a sense of perspective mate. Just a thought like.

We have the exports to maintain control of our debts and Brexit is sending us a windfall in terms of companies coming here. Our debt to GDP ratio is lower then the EU average so no panic over here.

Sellers you are boring and over excited. You should be celebrating in a pub by now and not argue with miserable people like us who dare to have a different opinion. Yes 5th largest nation and winner of more world cups than Germany. Who cares now. Those who don’t like it will eventually leave. I got over it and really hope supreme leader Johnson will make the Island a tax heaven. Just what the brexiter north voted for.
