I said we our GDP is a lot more than theirs and we can manage our debts better. Don't forget we bloody bailed them out of trouble 3bn which us tax payers are paying for.
Our GDP per capita is far higher Ellers We are managing our debts very well too. Not one cent has been repaid late and most of our debts are repaid before they are due. UK who?

My posts are facts. The figures shown are facts. the Uk is Irelands most important trade partner... without us they would be in big do do. That's why they were so scared of a no deal. Stop getting involved with factual posts stick to winding up Col. :emoticon-0148-yes:
If you supposedly deal in facts then maybe you should get them right.

The U.K. isn’t Ireland’s most important trade partner.

GDP in isolation means little. The U.K.s GDP per capita puts it at 24th in the global rankings.

How big is Irelands national debt?
It’s just over €200 billion. On a per capita basis that’s the third highest in the world, eclipsed only by the US and Japan. It equates to €42,000 for every man, woman and child in the State or nearly €90,000 for every worker in the economy.

Enough said.

And with a booming economy showing growth of 6.5 per cent, and a huge trade surplus between imports and exports, what we owe is being paid.
