Two women who have married into the royal family, pregnant, one is referred to in endearing terms, the other in negative terms. As you've agreed with people's opinions are formed by the access and reports from the media, this is a clear attempt by the media to manipulate people's perceptions. There were sections of the press who had been subjected to Meghan's criticisms that we weren't doing enough to help the poor in Africa, and then saw her go to America to be lavished with a £180k baby shower.
