The Jewish Chronicle newspaper pleaded with its readers not to vote for Jeremy CorbynPETER POWELL/EPA
Britain’s biggest Jewish newspaper has pleaded with the public not to vote for Jeremy Corbyn, accusing him of “racist views”.

The Jewish Chronicle said that throughout his career Mr Corbyn had “allied with and supported antisemites” and accused him of having “actively impeded action against racists”.

In a front-page editorial directed at non-Jews, the newspaper highlighted a poll which found that nearly half of the Jewish community said they would seriously consider emigrating if Mr Corbyn became prime minister.

The Times
Sadly Goldie some believe that this is all right-wing press and people just getting at Corbyn. I am surprised how many people are denying this with the countless information coming out daily?

The problem is people are just brushing this under the carpet.
Boris saying something stupid (and people will argue that it was taken out of context) and then saying the Tories are Islamophobic is wrong. How many more examples do we need from labour. That's 5 incidents this week. I don't hear of Tories quitting or councils saying don't vote for them each day.
People need to stop covering up for Corbyn and the Labour party.

They’re getting pilloried for it every day. No one is covering for them while the Tories are getting off incredibly lightly for what they’re saying on a daily basis.

The JC has done its job of fuelling fear. Labour are at worst demonstrably as anti-Semitic as the Tories but the JC editor, a former Express man, has been dripping this stuff into his readers’ faces for years.

Give me more than 2 incidents this week where the Tories have been accused of Islamophobia and candidates have quit over comments made?

Yes I must correct myself. The Tories arent islamophobic. Just certain party members are. The same goes with labour and antisemitism, certain members are antisemitic. My problem is that I'm quite anti israel, so if that then in turn can be twisted into antisemitism then so be it. I actually only know 5 jewish people. A family of 4 on my street and my uncles newest wife! I quite like them all so that now really confuse me.

I think the Labour party has done a good enough job Watford.

Morning Comrade Eelers.
You seem REALLY obsessed by this ‘Corbyn is an Anti-Semite’ stuff.....are you sure you’re not hiding something ? I wouldn’t put it past you old Tory boys......the few I knew years back always did have a problem with the Asians/Blacks/Jews.....wonder where they all vanished to ;)

This isn’t a great look... Get Brexit done though, for some reason we can’t remember.

He told NI businessmen that his deal is great for them because they can still benefit from free movement and access to the single market. Why deny these things to the rest of us then you prick?

Thats not what I said Watford? You have just pasted a Wikipedia page. (Please don't insult my intelligence.. I do it enough without Wikipedia). :)
Now I am not saying that the Tories don't have problems, and I am not saying they don't say stupid things... they do. However, it seems to be nearly everyday that someone quits Labour or people are being accused of ant-semitism within the Labour party. This should not be about scoring points but serious questions need to be answered.
I don't see the Human rights council investigating the Tories or their MP's standing down over Islamophobia incidents?
Agree Boris said a stupid thing but there are two very different problems going on here.

Yes, one party seems to be trying to clean itself up under intense media scrutiny. The other seems to be getting a free ride.

At the moment, this stuff is coming out everyday. You have to wonder how much more there will be, because it's drowning out any message Labour want to send to voters

Mind - probably just as well on their Brexit message - the idea of renegotiating an agreement with the EU and then campaigning in a referendum to overturn it and Remain is soooo bizarre

Funny, that.

The Brexit policy is perfectly sensible in a democracy. Negotiate a deal without the ludicrous Tory red lines and hedge fund instructions that won’t entirely **** the country up but acknowledge we’ve already got the best deal and better than any other EU member.

Not from me or Anderw Neil and many other commentators.
I thought JRM comments were stupid and it was wrong for Bridgen to support him. I thought the Tory MP that quit deserved to go (shame on him). I also think Boris's ready made deal isn't much better than May's. No free ride, but stupid comments compared to racist remarks and cover ups is a different thing.

As I said its not the media doing it, it's them theirselves. It wasn't the press that allegedly :) called someone 'Shylock'? or someone that 'likened the actions of the Israeli government to those of a child abuser'

How could anyone put their heart into negotiating a deal, that they know they will soon be persuading the electorate to reject? It's mindblowingly dumb

Comrade Eeliov has a fair point regarding Borisov and his comments/quotes. They could be taken out of context. Muslim women look like letter boxes, describing blacks as picanninies etc etc. I suppose Jeremy Corbyns comments/quotes about Jews could be taken out of context too, let's compare them shall we..............can someone please help me on this
