It makes perfect sense to me. Negotiate a deal then put that deal back to the people. Labour may rally against that deal but it will be down to the people to accept or reject. If only Borisov would do the same......dont think the Ruskis will let him though!
It really isn’t. Corbyn has been a Leaver for yonks. Politicians if they do their job correctly should be doing things on behalf of the public they may not personally agree with. If they purely were looking out for us minions they’d revoke it entirely but we’d have morons in the streets smashing up Foot Locker again so they’re literally proposing more democracy and agreeing to back what we go for with an informed choice. Leave should still win by a landslide if those who have written off a second ref are to be believed.
How can someone talk to negotiators at the same time it's government is negotiating a deal? Corbyn has proved that he is not fit for office. In this last week I have spoken to 4 life long Labour voters that won't be voting for Corbyn... (i am not saying they will vote Tory, as 2 of them definitely won't) but all i keep hearing is people turning away from Labour. Corbyn is a clown, unelectable and won't ever be PM.
Good. It’s not a dictatorship. Surely better to have the strongest cabinet available than a load of yes men. The Tories were a Remain party, being the self-proclaimed protectors of the economy and all that, until they promoted anyone who promised to toe the line and pretend they’d been passionate eurosceptics all along.

Personally, I think that's right. Question is, what happens post-Corbyn when he loses the election? I don't like him, and he has the charisma of an actuary with a hangover, but Kier Starmer would be the best bet. He may unite moderate and hard left.
That would be a small consolation and Starmer seems a very sensible and intelligent guy. Five years of Comrade Cummings running the country isn’t worth that though, for me.
A Remain cabinet cannot negotiate a good deal to Leave, knowing they will try to persuade the electorate to reject it in a referendum. They'll come back with a **** deal, and say, look what a **** deal we've been given, let's just Remain. It fools nobody
Starmer is a clever enough lawyer. Blair was a lawyer of course, but Blair had a bigger personality. Still, Starmer would be a great improvement on Corbyn imo. And I think he would deal with the antisemitism in the Labour Party which is being a curse to it in the election campaign at the moment. Shami Chakrabarti admitted on radio this am that Labour have taken far too long to get to grips with the problem and it's costing them
Sounds a bit risky when the electorate is full of lemmings. It’s really quite simple to negotiate as fair a deal as possible when the precious red lines are removed. Even Remainer May got pretty much Boris’ deal albeit with less scope to force a no deal upon us down the line.
If you believe Herr Juncker, it won't be possible. He's ruled it out. So absent Labour capitulating to the EU, the EU have no interest. They want to seal the current deal and everyone moves on.
This assumes there’s some Pareto efficiency to Boris’ deal which there isn’t. If there’s a major shift in our political landscape such as a Labour government or the announcement of a second referendum they’re open to changing their minds. Also, if you were right, the bots and supposed journalists would have been shrieking it seconds after the policy was revealed.
If there was a Labour government, that wanted a complete renegotiation, that would go down like a bucket of sick in Brussels, that has spent 3 years coming up with the present deal. They would make Labour pay for the privilege by being incredibly hard on terms. I wish I had a pound for every journalist's article that stated that Labour's Brexit policy is ill-thought out and unworkable.
I wish I had a pound for every policy u turn they make... we would both be millionaires. Truth is... that we don't knock the limps over racism or MP after MP leaves because they have a problem with jews. All I can say about the limps is that they are undemocratic and change policies every 5 minutes whereas the Labour party has this unsavoury underlining problem with jews. Sadly it goes all the way to the top.

Funny, that. The EU isn’t some vindictive force that wants to worsen most of this country’s lives like the Tories. There’s a perfectly palatable option that is an improvement for us and them versus the result of Boris’ flip-flop.
It's a sad state of affairs which ever angle you come from. Racism in parties. Remain votes getting split, leave votes getting split. Good deal/**** deal, secret withheld reports, doctored videos, lies, misunderstandings of deals, more propaganda. This ain't ending anytime in my future that's for sure. It's not just Junckers. Have you seen how pissed off Macron is by this whole saga? There's real anger in the EU at the parliamentary impasse. But they received Boris well because he's genuine about bringing the saga of the withdrawal agreement to an end, so we move on to the next stage And Jezza want to go back and say let's start again...
