Bloody hell tell me I didn't hear that? They want 16-17 year olds to vote, EU nationals living here and broth is living in the EU. They are getting so desperate.

What you mean is that Thuringen is moving to the extreme right and extreme left - like many other states in the former East Germany. The reasons behind this are that the reunification of Germany has not been an unqualified success (to put it mildly) - it is not a problem of the whole of Germany. Places like Thuringen, Saxony and Brandenburg hardly ever see immigrants, yet they are the areas which are becoming radicalized. The highest concentrations of both immigrants and refugees are found in places like Cologne and Düsseldorf where the far right hardly register as a political force. Can you move as far as to separate the themes of immigration and refugees ? Germany does not have uncontrolled immigration - and the peak of the refugee flow is over. Germany opened it's doors to refugees because of a dangerous bottleneck which had developed in the Balkans - most notably in Hungary - rather than criticize that it would be helpfull to suggest another humane course of action which would have met the same ends ie. saving lives. The reason why Germany appears to have a problem with radicalization has to do with the void left in the former East Germany, and the demoralization found there. Integrating West and East Germany is a far greater challenge than anything resulting from either immigration or refugees.
My son lives in Baden Wurttemberg and would echo everything that you have said. Having visited him several times over the last 4 years there, I can confirm that it seems to me to be an extremely well-integrated society where refugees and migrants are given the opportunity to thrive and are largely accepted save for small pockets of a generation of people who remember growing up as children under the Nazis or the Communists in the East. Fortunately, they will have died off completely within the next few years.

Labour bottled another election chance. Never heard of an opposition party not wanting an election. Shocking tactics that will cost them when we eventually have a GE.

Good tactics by labour. Cant trust a lying twat like Boris. Was made to look like a twat tonight aswell
Oh right and Comrade Jezzbollah Corbynski never lies, is always upfront and respects the wishes of the majority, and will without a shadow of doubt stick to all he pledged in his election 2017 manifesto, and never once has he been made to look like a hoofwanking bunglecunt by Boris and Theresa the appeaser.
I’m afraid Bob that your hatred of the Tories blinds you to the fact that Corbynski is much worse

He's clueless.

This country deserves more than a one issue election Ellers. An election at this time would be dominated only by Brexit and would, therefore, lead to a distorted result which the country would have to live with for the next 5 years, long after the issue of Brexit has become history (whichever way it goes). An election should be about the day to day running of this country - anything less than that would be an insult. The question which the electorate must ask is 'do we want to give a 5 year working majority to the most right wing cabinet that this country has ever seen' ? It doesn't mean giving a mandate to a party whose only mantra is 'let's get it done' - the Tories will need more than this in their manifesto. Labour does not want an election which is reduced to just this one issue.

C'mon turkish, even you know what the score is. Why believe Bojo with history of lying. 12th December, when hundreds of thousands of students will struggle to vote. Just another corrupt example of the Tory government. 100 million wasted on brexit adverts, boko should have spent it wisely like getting his leg over again!

I wonder if they will cost this brexit manifesto!!
