Yes, I find the venom aimed at her from the right bewildering. Surely everyone, from all points on the political spectrum, should be concerned about what we are doing to the planet? I really hope that young people are inspired by her - I certainly am.
Absolutely, I feel totally inspired by such an individual. Guess she is an easy target, find an angle that works against her, totally ignoring the bigger picture and bobs your uncles mother. To be honest I find the venom aimed at her says a lot more about those throwing it than Greta herself, I mean seriously people really do need to take look at themselves if you are giving **** to a child putting out a message that's good for the environment.
Why is it that anybody that has a different opinion to you must automatically be a person of the right?
BTW: good piece by Hitchens P last week on why most people incorrectly saw the Nazis as right-wing when they made enemies of many typical conservatives institutions.
If my opinions are broadly left-wing - which they are - people who have different opinions are likely to be of the right aren't they? Anyway the people I'm referring to - those pouring scorn on Thunberg - are of the right. I'm not aware of anyone from the left criticising her. I just don't understand why she attracts so much bile, when I would have thought she should be universally applauded.
Because there are some nasty ****s in this world who revel in mayhem, causing offence, disruption and greed! She gave Trump a thousand yard stare.
