Almost certainly. It's plainly obvious that the warring nations have been creating theatre for some time in an attempt to leave no option but to finally wade into Iran. The build up to this goes back to the end of WW2.

The Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility. Saudi say the have proof it was Iran and that the attack came from the north.

Pompeo, the war monger, wants to dive straight in, as, I'm sure Bolton would have. Makes me wonder about his timely dismissal.

Trump, however, is hopefully showing further restraint, as he has previously. I think what the 'US' wants and what Trump wants may be 2 different things.

If you ask me, I reckon old Pantsdown honestly believed Remain would win the 2016 Referendum and therefore thought himself safe in saying what he said. I reckon he was addressing what he thought would be the losers, the Leavers, and arrogantly telling them to accept the result and never raise the issue again.

The father of a mate of mine during my sixth-form college days was in the marines with Ashdown. Both were hockey-playing, Namby Pamby, supercilious twats if you ask me.

When will the West learn the lesson that interfering in that region only brings misery?

Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria interventions have not led to stability in the region. Far from it. I’d argue there have been more innocent deaths in those countries as a result of our meddling than had we left well alone. Not only that, but we’ve help engender a greater hatred of the West from their peoples which has probably fomented terrorism in our backyards.

The world should stand up against this theatre because long term after we have slaughtered innocents we will then complain when a bomb goes off and we lose 10

How the hell 200 odd missiles couldn’t be tracked in this day I don’t know

Act of war I will wait until the proof is shown not a load of scrap shell casings that they have out of the fires already even though they are still on fire

Of course. This is all true, but it wasn't a serious of events that didn't go as planned, this is scripted theatre.

Iraq, as we know, all based on lies, not mistakes.

Afghanistan, the longest war in modern history. For what?

Libya, destroyed.

Syria, infiltrated with western backed terrorists. The scene of a proven gas attack hoax, quickly forgotten.

Iran, manipulated for its oil reserves since WW2, perpetually provoked and blamed, with no evidence so far, of numerous aggressive acts.

The USA, following 9/11 and PNAC (and before, but vastly accelerated since), has been in a constant state of war with countries on the other side of the world, playing the ****ing enforcer and exists in varying degrees of tension with several others.

The UK government has been found guilty of unlawfully arming Saudi Arabia, assisting in the slaughter of thousands and hell like conditions for thousands more.

This isn't a series of mistakes or unfortunate consequences, this is an agenda.

Project for a new American century.

Unlawful because no consideration given to the intention of use. It's one thing to sell weapons to a country that is passively building a defence, but ruled unlawful recently given their bombardment of Yemen.

Migrants evacuated from the sprawling camp at Grande-Synthe threatened to set fire to a bus transporting them away and smashed a window after they discovered they were being taken far from the Britain.
Riot police descended on the 1,200-strong camp this morning with bulldozers and 150 children were left unaccompanied, according to the Help Refugees charity.
Police and fire-fighters intercepted two coaches at a motorway toll after one driver raised the alarm of an on-board riot taking place at about 10am this morning.
Riot police were called in and stormed one of the buses to restore order among the 20 passengers some two hours later.

Five migrants, Iraqi Kurds, were arrested on public order offences and taken into custody at the French Border Force headquarters at Coquelles.
All the 47 passengers were searched for weapons and cigarette lighters, before the vehicles were allowed to continue their journeys to final destinations in Brittany at about midday.
The unrest began when 20 migrants travelling in the first coach started rioting, with one smashing a window. Others threatened to set the bus on fire with a cigarette lighter.
It is believed that the passengers became enraged when they learned they would be taken to reception centres in Brest and St Malo – hundreds of miles away from their departure point for Britain at the Straits of Dover.
Riot police at the camp at Grande-Synthe discovered half a dozen knives, including a box-cutter, following searches of their possessions before allowing them to board later buses.

Presumably, blacking up (if that is an OK expression, probably not, eggshells!) for any reason at all, be it for fancy dress parties or whatever, is now racist, but please could someone tell me why?

Having first saying he would abide by a Supreme Court decision that he prorogued parliament unlawfully, Boris submits documents to the Supreme Court (which he tries to hide from the public) where he suggests that even if found to have acted unlawfully, he would still not bring back parliament and he could just prorogue it again. This governments behaviour reminds me of Germany in the 1930's.
