In what stands to be one of the largest hissy fits in British political history, Momentum have announced plans to take radical action to shut down bridges and roads up and down the country in a new direct action campaign. To mirror Boris’ shut down of parliament…
In a move that is certain to get middle England on side, Momentum hailed the success of yesterday’s minuscule protest outside Parliament, threatening the Government by saying “if you steal our democracy, we’ll shut down the streets”. Doesn’t look like this political hysteria is going to lose Momentum any time soon…

Interesting regarding the desire not to have a no deal Brexit. 100% agree that a deal needs to be done to protect people, both in the UK and the EU from losing their jobs, and I have only got my residency card in France to protect myself and my right to work here. From the EU end, and I think there lies a problem here, British politicians can puff their chests and make as many bold statements as they like, but it just isn't in the interest of Angela and Emmanuel et all to make this easy. The easier they make it, the quicker they could see more and more countries drop out.

The racism thing was probably just an off-cuff comment, but it still surprised me that that opinion was so freely expressed.

Seems there are going to be widespread 'Stop the Coup' demonstrations tomorrow. I hope they remain peaceful, but anticipate Old Bill piling in when the inevitable few intent on trouble take a hand. If that happens, only the aggro will appear in the MSM.

Stainesy must be conflicted - ordinary people demonstrating against a right-wing coup, but he's on the side of the rightists.

Come now Stroller, not all Lefties are your sort of Islington champagne drinking type ;). The political system in this country is pulling itself apart....the sooner the better :)

Blocking bridges and stuff, innit? Let's hope this doesn't prevent the emergency services getting to those in need in time, eh?

Coup: "an instance of successfully achieving something difficult", apparently, or "a sudden, violent, and illegal seizure of power from a government". I guess you must mean the former as what Johnson is trying to get across the line is neither sudden, violent nor illegal...and he already heads the government.

Brexit transcends normal party political lines of left and right, so why should it be a surprise that Stainsey supports it when his politics are left-leaning? He's an intelligent man and knows his own mind, so I respect his opinion. The likes of Cuddly Ken Clarke are supposedly right-wingers (or maybe that ought to be right whingers?) and are Remainers.

It's a right ol' to-do and no mistake.

Let's hope that the liar Johnson's No Deal Brexit doesn't cause anyone to die through lack of medication, eh?

Cummings Johnson's action is certainly sudden, may well prove to be illegal (court cases pending) and may well also prove to be violent if there is an OTT police reaction tomorrow.

There's a suggestion that Johnson should be required to swear a court affidavit to the effect that the timing of his actions are nothing to do with Brexit. Of course he would do it, but he would be lying, wouldn't he? Lie to the court, or be shown to have lied to the Queen?

which other countries are suffering from medication shortages

if they can be shipped to every other country in the world then it will be the companys and not brexits fault

not everything can be blamed on karl henry
