Do you believe in democracy?
The democracy we have is as good as it gets. If one politician lies or exaggerates, it's up to the opposition to prove it.
If you can show me any country in the world where a system works better, I'll be interested
Do you believe in democracy?
I'm not bothered about any other country, just as it seems you're not bothered about voting on bullshit. It's not democratic to vote on lies. Do you agree a simple yes or no. I’ve stayed very quiet on this for the last 12 months and read with interest.
Simple question for you all;
If Britain leaves with a no deal, what do you think happens when they come back to negotiate a new trade deal with the biggest trading block in the world?
Simple question. Let’s hear it then.

I get that mate. So why do people get on their High horse about a vote based on bullshit not being implemented?Bob....every election that ever was has been based on some kind of lies and untruths.....it’s what the ****s do.

You said that we were on the verge of recession.
Project fear.
You're getting pathetic now Col."Probable recession".
There you go again.
You're getting pathetic now Col.

It's pathetic to suggest that we're on the verge of recession.
1/4 we don’t this year and 11/4 we do. Don’t think it’s too far-fetched to suggest it given the recent results.
Great question. i have always said get the withdrawal done quickly because the future partnership deal is what really matters. The member states are all on side now but when we get into details on what really affect their businesses the cracks will start to appear. We need to capitalise on that and see where we can get advantages. I never buy the idea they need us more than we need them but there's a few member states (not just Ireland) who will get hurt by this too so everyone needs to be sensible about it.I’ve stayed very quiet on this for the last 12 months and read with interest.

Got any reports Bracknell ?
I might of missed them ‘cos all I’ve found say they expect growth next quarter
Just checked the odds which suggest it’s unlikely, at least this year.
Given the likely inflation on the way as a result of the pound tanking and general pessimism of us great unwashed I don’t think we’ll be seeing much real growth if any over the next couple of years.
We don't believe experts though, do we? We want facts. Negative growth in Q2 is a fact, and this leaves us - indisputably it seems to me - on the verge of recession. For clarity, this does not mean recession is inevitable. I really do struggle to get myself understood on here. He’s got a point though, hasn’t he Strolls ?
Every report I’ve read says that we will have growth in the next recorded quarter...including every financial expert in the world......if you can link a report that says we will go into recession then put it up and I’ll stand to be corrected
NB of course every expert could be wrong I’ll admit.
So what you’re saying is that the statement that been banded about by some on here (and the media) that we are on the verge of recession, is in fact a load of old bollox ?
Just checking![]()
