Well his chances are improving as we speak as "favourite" Boris has to go to Court to face allegations of misconduct in public office, which if proven could lead to life imprisonment. As this was the lie on the bus used by the Vote Leave campaign in the referendum campaign, also during the 2017 GE, hopefully he'll be joined by a few of his mates serving in public office at these times, in the pinky. With this, their illegal expenditure, and Leave having 57 varieties, there is no sound basis on which to maintain the bollox that the referendum vote should be honoured.
They might as well. Halloween suits them well. They will have trouble "negotiating" any new agreement with the EU before then anyway, as no new EU commission will be in place until around then.
The depths we have sunk to summed up:
John Cleese tweets about London not being ‘English’ anymore and how he preferred the London, and essentially English ‘values’ of his youth. Tweeted from his home in the Caribbean. But it’s just an opinion, only notable as it comes from someone who was very funny a very long time ago.
The alleged mayor of London and various others have a pop at him for his opinions, which are best ignored if you don’t like them.
Sundry right wing snowflakes from Leave.Eu and people like Lee Hurst then whine on about how Cleese is being ‘abused’, clearly not understanding that the free speech they claim to stand for also includes the right to respond to opinions you don’t like, even though this only publicises the original opinion and is a complete waste of oxygen, electricity and pixels, and is just as witless as the original ‘opinion’.
The entire waste of space is then classified as ‘news’ FFS.
Repeat cycle until death. The internet has enabled a continuous, neverending tsunami of **** to be unleashed, full of nonentities’ opinions that they lack the balls to do anything about. Just like this post.

Boris could accidentally (or intentionally) kill a child live on TV and people would still vote for him as he's such a lovable buffoon so it'll be interesting to see what comes of this, he's a total self serving prick.
Oh I agree, the landscape has changed so much in the last 3 years whether people choose to believe it or not. I try and think what I would be thinking and saying if Remain had won by the same small margin but its difficult to really imagine that scenario as Remain would have been more straightforward, there aren't really any different flavours or permutations unlike the aforementioned 57 varieties of Brexit so there would be less to argue about. Although as Mr Farage himself said of the possibility of a narrow Remain win "In a 52-48 referendum this would be unfinished business by a long way" so its a bit rich just about everything he has said since about respecting the result etc.
I would have thought that if Boris can be taken to court for lying, parliament would be empty.

The timing is clever. He’s not talking to the media at the moment, which is probably wise, waiting for when the official competition begins. It’s quite fun hearing the BBC presenters getting quite wound up because he won’t turn up and they are left with sundry other anonymous candidates.
I think we have, in relation to the Uxbridge Road W12 I think. I wasn’t having a pop at Cleese's opinion or his right to have it, but the whole sorry cycle of bitching that automatically follows him voicing the view.
As you know I like the variety of cultures you find in London and elsewhere. But I am getting increasingly fond of Newcastle, which is much less diverse. Exclusive monocultural ghettos are definitely to be avoided, and we have too many of these in big cities.
Why do you bother with it Sooper? This is the only social media I do, and there are probably less than 50 of us ‘active’. Plenty of room for more exclusivity.......
Those two certainly seem to appear more inclusive than the others, and Stewart has a genuinely interesting history. But whoever gets it will require a magic wand or Thing One and Thing Two to make any headway with this mess. I can’t really see what difference a new leader will make, other than sparing us the sight of May slowly drowning in her own greyness.
Absolutely, but if successful they will be head of a bunch of self obsessed back stabbing ****wits (for balance the opposition no better). The only thing which will unite them is fear. So what are they all afraid of?

Concede there are some excellent U.K. cities was too quick maybe but stand that London is a pretty unique place
Nationally however too many towns have lost something that would be hard to restore
I hope Scotland gets its independence as with Wales and Northern Ireland there seems a stronger bond to a culture
My opinion is warped of course as my farming heritage in the South East was eaten up by London money hence why I feel like I do and have done what I have done ... couldn’t afford to live in my home village in East Sussex because of house prices and my boys have little or no chance of owning a house
We went too quick and too far imo and pretty sure any English town would state that changes around them haven’t been all good
It’s all seems very much as infrastructure is ignored time and time again
Of course there are pockets in the U.K. that have retained more say culture etc but overall the proud lion is not coming back that imo is fantasy
