Just making a point in my own way......but don’t worry.....just me being a dick as it’s been a hard day and I was meant to finish at 4 and have only just got home.
As you were.
Will do. It was an honest question though. I’ll look it up. Have a beer and put your feet up.

Ray Kinsella is one of the founding supporters of the Irexit partyGARETH CHANEY/COLLINS
A new political party campaigning for Ireland to leave the European Union will be launched in Dublin on Saturday.
Among those involved in the establishment of the Irexit Freedom Party are Ray Bassett, a former Irish ambassador; and Ray Kinsella, a UCD professor. Hermann Kelly, a former journalist and now head of communications at the Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy group of MEPs in Brussels, will be the party’s spokesman.
The launch will follow a conference at the Bonnington hotel — the former Regency — in Whitehall and will be addressed by Bassett, Kinsella and Paddy Manning, a gay man who opposed the same-sex marriage referendum.
Bassett will outline what he sees as the benefits of leaving the EU and the customs union, thereby…

OK Corbyn apologists, he wanted to add a statement to the Labour policy on anti semitism to the effect that calling the circumstances around the establishment of the state of Israel as racist is not itself racist. His colleagues on the NEC rejected his proposal, but at least it is now crystal clear that Corbyn is a true anti Zionist, wishing to see the destruction of Israel and the establishment of Hamas, a bunch of medieval theocratic fundamentalists, as the dominant force in the area, and also a cretin - his proposal is in direct contradiction of the definition of anti semitism which his party had just adopted, which includes the example of describing Israel as a racist endeavour as anti Semitic.

Well done Labour, left this open wound wide open.

Almost any other leader, including I suspect John MacDonnell, who though he is an unreconstructed Marxist talks a decent game, and Labour would now be 20 points ahead of the Tories in the polls.

"Do black lives matter? Let me answer like this. No. Black lives do not matter. Black lives will not matter. Black lives should not matter. Black lives must not matter. Until black people start respecting black lives and we stop killing ourselves, black lives can never matter."

Reverend Jasper Williams's comments at Aretha Franklin's funeral didn't go down well with her family, but it's a harsh claim that surely has to be faced in America, and increasingly, in the UK.

Far easier for many in the black community (and many liberal whites) to blame a racist police force instead of looking at the underlying problem that it’s black youth who are doing harm to each other.
Take some of the blame you ****tards.

The rev has got the problem spot on, imho and is a very brave man for saying so.....much respect to him

Certainly doesn't excuse white cops or privileged white men with some kind of petty issue and a gun killing black people disproportionately, though. Unless, of course, 'well, they kill each other, so surely it's OK for me to do it' becomes a valid defence strategy.

Yes, everyone needs to respect everyone - but this guy is completely wrong to conflate the BLM movement with a lack of respect within the black community. The two are completely different. It's pathetic to see a black church minister saying things like this, no matter when he did it.

Easy way to find this out is to flip the race. You see white guys fighting white guys all the time - but nobody dreams of saying that because of this, their lives don't matter. Do they?

The underlying problem is both. You can't absolve the clearly racist police force just because people argue and fight in their own community.

Agree completely, Stainsey. There's no doubt there have been some incidents where US cops have killed black suspects unlawfully - and they should face the full force of the law. But there's a far bigger problem out there which is being ignored completely by the "Black Lives Matter" activists.

The black community needs leaders like Rev Jasper Williams, and to lose the constant victim culture

It's a complex problem. Sure, black people need to be able to help themselves but to think there isn't any racism in the police force and that in certain U.S. districts, there isn't police brutality is laughable as well.

What's really scary is how much money the private companies that run the prison make

Do stop me if I've paraphrased you guys incorrectly...

Argue and fight ? Black kids here are stabbing each other over ****ing postcodes, Willy and people like me are left to pick up the pieces.
Who’s fault is that ? The police ?
The racists ? or maybe it’s just themselves for their warped sense of respect and honour.......

White liberals like yourself are just as much to blame......

No. Racists are to blame. If you actually read my post instead of just repeating your blinkered view, you'lll see I said that there's two issues. Black on black violence and the police being inordinately deadly towards blacks. You choose to ignore the one that is the direct responsibility of white people though. Why is that?

Oh - and a) I'm not a liberal, and b) I'm not to blame. And c) my race has nothing to do with this. I'm outraged at the disproportionate killing of blacks, and the disproportionate arrests and sentencing of blacks compared with whites doing the same crime. Any decent human being should be equally outrages at this complete lack of equality and justice (something I thought you were all for - or is it only justice and equality for white people?)

We're talking about the U.S. right?

I don't think anyone is on the side of BLM in UK (maybe Willy) in general whether thats on this forum or in real life?

Many of the police who do the shootings are black....are they racists too ?

Think most people agree that the police over there are over eager to turn to force.
