What a load of tosh. You seem to do a lot yet nothing.

Yep it’s going well thank you
There in itself is your own answer to yourself you like I haven’t a clue the outcome

You have a dream that’s it , no substance

Carry on cherry picking your news reports from the BBC or you could go online and search the internet to make you feel better

But I see, design for and experience the big businesses in action do you?

Plus they don’t mind paying me

One good grow area for the small business Irish market could be same sex civil partnerships with a aim to get a Englishman or women a Irish passport ... my point is everyone could find a work round to make a killing. What are English people doing now apart from dreaming and wishing. I’m not I am on it but I have to be with what I do for a living ... chuck it in the bank then sit back it all unfold ... in the sun of course

But you live in France?
You talk about cherry picking, you should get back to your job.

Isn't LEGO a Danish company headquartered in Denmark?
Global but they need to recover their U.K. market so we have the next 7 years on contract to do just that. Heineken however made our soho based business move immediately to Amsterdam... just an example

Even my one of my dedicated accounts RSA are looking to leave 20 Fenchurch St
Royal Sun Alliance insurance products for Tesco’s, John Lewis ,Argos etc etc
The U.K. spends £6.7bn just on Pet Insurance so it’s not rocket science to see why they are looking into doing a Starbucks

They are all at it
So while Ellers stands in his Union Jack pants in Great Britain singing from the roof tops at how the rest of Europe is dying the rest of Europe is in fact working hard to ensure where the money will go and with it the power

I live in London mate today and pay taxes in both the U.K. and France. Week Wednesday I will live in France. It won’t be too soon until I can pick my own cherries from my own trees. I can sell you some if you want when the time comes €25 a kilo ... you could sell them on the side of the road

That will be nice. Enjoy your life in France and enjoy the EU. I will be just fine here.

Stroller if you actually believe there will be another referendum then you are deluded. It ain't gonna happen. We don't want it, the EU don't want it. It is just a few that cannot accept a democratic vote.
Dream on and believe but you will be disappointed. :emoticon-0148-yes:

OK... maybe we'll have to agree to disagree on what 'democratic' means.

Clearly I'm disappointed now, so pretty happy to wait and see what transpires... tide appears to be turning, and people are starting to ask questions rather than blindly accept the promises of politicians of all colours which is a huge positive for me.

Oddly, the question about changing your mind is something that I have considered many times... but nearly a year since Article 50 was invoked we're still yet to see any substance in what Brexit will actually mean so it's hard to see what I could change my mind for - certainly I'm not going to be coerced into supporting what I feel was a deeply compromised vote when so much of it has been exposed after the fact as 'mistakes' or aspirations rather that actual policy.

Additionally the shambolic management of the Brexit department, and the embarrassingly inept performances of the Government's major players (impact assessments anyone? https://fullfact.org/europe/brexit-impact-assessments/ ) really don't inspire confidence that we will come out with anything remotely positive.

The level of understanding of the basics of the leaving process and the legislative and social impacts appear inadequate, and as mentioned above, any actual detail is non-existent.

Until then I'll keep my powder dry and prefer the status quo of the devil I know - I guess I just prefer to make decisions on facts rather than fantasy.

"Sterling is benefiting from the dollar weakness and the growing euro strength rather any pound-specific factors, which if anything have been underwhelming this week," said Alvin Tan at Societe Generale.
Balls, I changed £ to $ this morning, before Trump’s racist outburst. Jump against the $, about the same against the €.

You didn't answer my question.

It's funny that all this good news is greeted with "only because". many factors make currency go up and down but sadly the remoaners will use the negatives all the time.

So, am I right in thinking that everyone on here who wants a second referendum doesn't actually agree with referendums anyway, as the result can be overturned by a another..........and another..........etc etc?
Therefore, what's the point in ever having one?
Because if you don't like the result Col some think it's democratic to try and change it. Agree, what is the point of voting or having a vote? Those 17.5M thick racists didn't have a clue what they were voting for. It was never about leaving the EU is was about what sort of deal we would make on document TW10000456 of the EU bible

Does that mean you agree or disagree with the professional financial analyst?
Does it matter. One analyst will say one thing and another will say different. Take Bank of England forecast about Brexit....It was wrong.
However I agree with what you said in your post

We should have been a lot stronger, however, their work has been hindered by certain quarters hell-bent on stopping the process and reporting negative news at every opportunity.

I think you are right, I can’t see the point of referenda in a representative democracy like ours. Honestly. MPs are elected to make the decisions, it’s bottling it when governments call a referendum. We never get one on going to war, I notice.

I did a daily Precious Metals report for the Bank I worked for which was given to Reuters. I would ask anyone in the office what to say when I couldn't think of anything once giving the classic answer to the question of why the market was going up "Because there were more buyers than sellers" which Reuters published. A few months later the Bank asked us to stop talking to the news organisations.

Totally agree in one part and not so much in another...
1. can you trust an MP to make an honest decision?
2. Agree Blair took us to war on a lie. Seriously that tw2nt has blood on his hands.
