So disMay is asking us to vote for her to 'strengthen her hand' against the 'other parties who wish to disrupt the Brexit process while 27 countries oppose us'. So much for an open, outward looking country. With that level of paranoia I expect higher taxes to pay for the new secret police force and the inevitable war with our enemies over the channel.

Ignorance is strength.

"Make me a dictator and your lives will improve, honest".

I might just vote for an independent or spoil my ballot. Lib Dem at a push.

Meanwhile Labour's cunning Brexit plan unveiled yesterday is, if the EU offer us a really, really **** deal - take it!

It's taken them since last June to work that one up

I don't even think it's worth debating the result of the General Election as the Tories will brush all aside. It was also funny today listening to 'Comedy Corbyn' organizing stuff with
I'm close to invoking Godwin's Law.

"Strong and stable leadership". No. Let's look at policies instead.

Nice to see the Foreign Secretary reducing the quality of the debate to insults and slogans about Corbyn again. What a role model for the rest of us...

Boris called Corbyn a Mugwump...not knowing what it means I looked it up. Here are a few definitions:-

The Mugwumps were Republican political activists who bolted from the United States Republican Party by supporting Democratic candidate Grover Cleveland in the United States presidential election of 1884.

a person who remains aloof or independent, especially from party politics.

a person who is independent (as in politics) or who remains undecided or neutral

Now you can call Jeremy Corbyn many many things...But you cannot call him a Republican party defector, or a person who remains aloof from Party politics, or neutral/undecided.

Methinks Boris doesn't know what it means either and is talking as usual through his ****

He was just embarrassing himself on Radio 4 with the equally egotistic Humphreys. Just awful, an indictment of British politics. I am ashamed that this man represents us to the rest of the world. I'd prefer Andrea 'useless waste of oxygen ' Leadsom.

What I learned:

The Tories only want to talk about Brexit and Corbyn and I am developing an allergy to the word 'stable' already

Johnson is still peddling the £350m a week for the NHS lie that even Farage said was wrong at the time - but only because if he admits it was a lie it makes him a liar - which we all know he is anyway

Immigration is too high but no one will put a figure on what is an acceptable level, and foreign students should not be included because some of them become kings of foreign countries

The Government will back and provide support to Trump in future attacks (including launching cruise missiles from subs in the Med) on Syria if requested to (and he committed May to this) without asking Parliament

Johnson still thinks the US is prioritising us for a trade deal, even though multiple members of the US administration have said they are not. Or is he just lying about that?

The government will definitely deliver the 'best possible'* Brexit deal

Boris Johnson is an odious creep

I look forward to the Shadow Foreign Secretary being given the same platform. If only I knew who that was (seriously). Jesus **** I've just looked it up - Emily Thornberry.

* of course 'best possible' includes an awful deal or no deal at all, on the grounds that that is the only deal possible. But it won't be our fault and will still be the 'best possible'. It's like those adverts which promise you 'up to 20% more' when 'up to' clearly includes no more at all.

I could think of a better word to call Jeremy Corbyn and it only has 4 letters.

It seems that if the CPS is going to bring charges relating to election fraud in 2015, it will have to be done before 8th June. Good. However, due to 'election rules', they will not be able to make this known to the public. So some may be unknowingly marking their X next to the name of someone who has been charged with fraud at the last election.

One of the main reasons for calling such a snappy snap election.
