I think you apply on line to go. They made up their affiliations on the applications and turned up in full regalia. I can't imagine the BBC would want the embarrassment of barring them. They just edited them out of the programme.

Hillary Clinton looking equally likely to be the Democratic nominee begs the question that in a country of 300 million why can't they find two nominees better than these?...
It's bloody expensive for a start. Would be great news for the Democrats if Trump somehow wins the Rep vote.
That's true, however I'm not sure that the US public are ready for a female President. I think that - in an ideal world - Trump-Clinton (or Trumpton, as I think of it, because it's all a cartoon) would result in an overwhelming victory for 'None of the above'. As that's not possible, I fear for the next four years whatever the result.
If they were ready for a black president twice, why not a woman? Plenty to fear from Trump, but it would be more of the same from Clinton.

He really is though, however 100% with you about Trump the thought that one day the Russians will still have Putin, the Americans might have Trump and we might have............Boris. Well it's quite frightening
Must admit I don't often get the chance to read his piece in the main Sunday Times, but I tend to like his column in the Sport section as he seems to aline himself with the normal fan in the street, thought his piece last Sunday about the attendances at lower league and non league games was spot on.......
