Bloody hell Lammy was getting a bit excited today. I must say that was one of his best speeches he has made Shame the other 99% of the time he talks utter b2222222's.

Breaking News: Russia and Syria will not let the OPCW examine the site where the chemical weapons were used. They are refusing access. I don't see why as they said it never happened? <doh> And people wanted to give the Russians the benefit of the doubt....

They are now saying that the OPCW investigators will get access to the site tomorrow. Meanwhile a journalist from the Independent has visited the site and interviewed a doctor who expressed doubt over the gas attack story.........

Before you start calling me a Putin sympathiser again Ellers, I am not suggesting that there categorically was no gas attack, or that if there was, it was perpetrated by anyone other than Assad - I am merely pointing out that there are other possible explanations. As with the Skripals, the rush to judgment, and the actions taken before conclusive evidence has been established, makes me extremely uneasy. There was no need for the UK to be so hasty in taking the highly dangerous action of bombing Syria other than to circumvent Parliament, it seems to me.

That's the real tragedy of the story. We back one group of savages over another group of savages all in the name of politics when really there are so many interest groups (people who want a war to make profits, people who want write their names into history, people who want to deflect from their own failings and just general politics).

Syria never needed to happen and now millions of people have been displaced, thousands more killed by both government and rebels (sounds like a lot of executions). Syria was doing just fine until the west helped plunge it into a civil war and now innocent normal people are now paying for it.

That Dr from Syria who gave that amazing talk on the history of his country and the region was lying all along. I should have just read a few post on here and got the truth.

so you think Libya Syria and Iraq are better off now than before?

granted, it wasn't great under a dictatorship and if you got on the wrong side then it probably meant trouble, nowadays everyone is on the wrong side and people are being executed on both sides as well as displacement. People weren't evacuating from these 3 countries before, now they are leaving in their droves.

Yes you should demand your money back from the university
