As a proud Englishman I'll say whatever I like. FFS..................France? France? As if everything there is rosy. The EU? A completely un-democratic protectionist elitist club who's books are never signed off because they're so corrupt!

What seems to be happening with regards to Brexit is that those who hate their own Country will never admit that the EU have ever done anything wrong.
Those from other countries who never see anything wrong with the EU just seem to dislike the UK (probably due to our Colonial past or something) and the chip on their shoulders clearly prevents them from seeing anything other than a perfect EU.
As for our Government, they are, on the whole, ****ing useless. As are the opposition who are riddled with far left wing ****s like Emma Dent Coad who is a despicable human being and terrorist apologists.
The whole political class is a disgrace right now.
Those that blame the people who voted to leave completely ignore the fact that this Country has been very sceptical about the EU for as long as I can remember. Poll after poll over the years showed that we would vote to leave which is why Governments didn't dare put it to the test. Then that knob Cameron chanced his arm and look what happened.
Remainers act as if everyone in the Country has always been totally happy with being part of the EU political experiment, whilst nothing could be further from the truth.
Get over yourselves.

Well to be fair, the concerted 40-year campaign of misinformation from the right-wing press had some success in turning people against the EU, but I don't recall polls showing a majority favouring leaving. Quite the opposite in fact.

I have recently experienced first hand a lot of hard line Brexiteers and I honestly respect their views and understand the protest as it offers a fresh start ...
