UK now likely to be involved as Hezbollah targeting British bases in Cyprus from Lebanon. Starmer appears to be doing everything he can to avoid entering the fray but by granting permission for US to use our bases he has invited these attacks...
He’s done a tremendous job of trying to appease everyone while appeasing nobody again.

Marco Rubio has admitted that the reason the US had to attack Iran was that they knew Israel were going to attack, so they had to tag along.

Military investigators believe that the Iranian girls' school was bombed by the US and there are now suggestions that they were using AI to select targets. All of which makes this rather scary....

Wars are becoming almost like computer games, drones and missiles programmed like a satnav. The next step will be robots...

Rather proud that our PM has chosen not to join the reckless and illegal US war on Iran. Harold Wilson would approve.

Starmer's played this right imo. An adult in the room.

It seems being an adult in the room within politics makes you an outlier from the world today and becomes a negative.

Greedy bastard petrol stations cashing in at earliest opportunity. Local ASDA which normally was cheapest charging 141.9 and plenty of others above that. One near Hever in Kent had diesel at 163.9. To think last week I filled up in Hastings at 125.9! And this is just the start...

Been shocking to be fair. Same fuel in the tanks and they immediately put the prices up. I get it if they buy at a higher price and the price goes up but forecourt prices go up and **** the customers.
Wait till the price of crude goes down, there will be a delay before forecourt prices go down. Total loss take. We’ll all play for it whether we have a vehicle or not. Plenty of pigs at the trough.
