With the state of the tories and the one electoral idea nationalist sweaties labour should romp home in the next election

I think they’ll get a majority but not a big one. There are places that voted for Blair who won’t go for Starmer IMO and the Lib Dems should do well in the more affluent Tory areas.

If Labour and the Libs (and Greens) work together they have the potential to make the Tory number of seats hilariously small but they won’t and there’ll be a few seats the Tories sneak into with 40% or less of the vote.

8/11 for a Labour majority which isn’t a terrible bet at all IMO if you’re willing to tie your money up for 18 months.

Labour thought it could win without the working class.
This country was never going to elect a leader who hates his own country and openly supported Hamas, Hezbollah and the IRA.
These Marxist extremists had little support outside the London bubble of champagne socialists and still they cannot work out how calling leavers thick racists and allowing their momentum thugs to run things would lead to anything other than this crushing defeat.
Bolsover has never voted Tory, yet this is what they did when faced with Corbyn's vision.
The working class have abandoned them and the Tories are now their natural vote.
This Islington based protest group bares no comparison to the Labour movement that created the NHS, but are too deluded and extreme to care.
Boris, imo is a liberal, one Nation Tory who will repay the north and everywhere else for their votes.
If he doesn't, I'll be the first to say so.
He's already planning to put into law his spending plans for the NHS.

Labour in it's present form will never be elected.

This is a good one.

I’m sure if I looked back far enough there’d be plenty of my own posts I’d be embarrassed about now albeit with the excuse of youth. I was quite centre-right then which was influenced by what I learned at school and uni despite this myth Education is full of Marxists.

I stand by most of that and did indeed state that Boris had become an embarrassing failure.
The fact that you find my comments about Corbyn and the Liberal Elite indefensible, says everything about you.
Education is indeed tilted towards the left, indoctrinating the young and impressionable, in much the same way religious schools do in favour of religion.
You are very much in the minority starting out centre right and moving to your present Liberal elite standpoint.
Most people are more left of centre in their thinking when young and then become more centralist as they grow up.

That’s changing with millennials as people are sick of being shat on by the government and your generation.

<laugh><laugh><laugh>
Your generation will always find something to be offended by.

A high cost of living, declining purchasing power and opportunities stolen by a government doing nothing to help groups unlikely to vote for them mostly.

A bit rich from the generation that fetishises a war they were lucky enough to miss and reaped the benefits of cheap housing that followed.

Same here, when younger I was quite centre right I reckon. My eyes and mind opened as I got older and always remember my grandad saying, " a vote for the Tories is a vote for the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer'. Never has that been more apparent than the present day.

Cheap housing ? I paid £65k for my first house I’ll have you know…..but at least it was fully furnished.
You lot don’t realise you’ve had it so good :)

I’ve never hid away from the fact I was far-right….when I realised they were a bunch of ****s I became far left……I’ve now realised they are all a bunch of ****s so I’m far-removed from them all
