The Hampstead to Hackney thing could be construed as a trope and the rest of it, as with the previous speeches, rather echoes many unsavoury right wing regimes.
But you seriously would say it’s “fascist” ?
Seriously ?

Yes I think so. We aren’t talking yellow armbands and gas chambers but it’s reminiscent of Orban or early-mid 30s Germany, for example.
See the problem I have with your argument is that by you equating anything right wing as “fascist”, you then make it far easier for real, actual fascists to come in under a cloak of respectability, and use it against any valid argument against them.
It’s like the right wing press, who label anything from the Left, such as Union heads, as “Marxist”
It's not a million miles away from this jaunty slogan...

Dachau concentration camp was created in 1933, so you may like to rethink that
My post still makes perfect sense so no, thank you. Enjoy the final day of the rally.
Can you let me have the location of all concentration and re-education camps in the UK (and don't include four star hotels where illegal immigrants are housed)?
As I said earlier, not replicating every aspect of the Nazis doesn’t mean their words and actions aren’t reminiscent of some of those of the Nazis. Hungary don’t have concentration camps now but I think we’d agree Orban is very far to the right with many policies.
Orban is close to, and has immigration policies virtually identical to, Vladimir Putin.
So, doesn't that make him far to the Left?
Putin has little in common with previous far left regimes IMO but the political spectrum is more of a circle than a line. Far left leaders tend to be pretty brutal too.
Which Far Left regimes differed materially from Putin's?
How would you describe the society you are reading about in Nineteen Eighty Four mate?See the problem I have with your argument is that by you equating anything right wing as “fascist”, you then make it far easier for real, actual fascists to come in under a cloak of respectability, and use it against any valid argument against them.

Let’s go with Chairman Mao and see what fascinating insights you come back with.

It may not be fascist yet, but I find the whole thing quite disturbing. It has the very cloak of respectability that you describe but is highly sinister in its nature and is connected to radical right in the US.
It’s really not. Look at the last tweet I posted.
