Have any of the Brexit promises come true yet? I just see a rapidly shrinking economy and the same demographic still moaning about immigration.

I’m not disagreeing with you entirely……it’s a stain on the Left that the argument for the cause of leaving the EU on a worker based/ Left wing point of view, hasn’t been more vocal.
But let’s be honest here….there are those on the ‘Lib’ side who actively sought for it to fail…as well as those in the EU and in government.
It really didn’t have to be this way…but then again it wouldn’t have given a chance for certain sides to smugly scream…”I told you so”

All analysis shows that Brexit has done massive damage to the UK economy.

Impact of Brexit on economy 'worse than Covid' - BBC News

You can see the rank corruption in the EU. I have no wish to go back to that cesspit. Brexit has been hit by the Pandemic which took government's eyes off pursuing it, and also there is a punitive element to how the EU has dealt with the UK, which is fading as it occurs to them how important the UK is to Europe on matters such as security.

Brexit hasn't had a change to get to its feet, and if you don't believe me, listen to Labour's front bench because that's their message - Make Brexit Work

Maybe. Maybe it was just a **** idea led by right wing idiots with no real intention of winning.

None of them were particularly heard beforehand compared to the likes of Johnson and Farage. Have their post-exit fantasies come true either?

Not heard by the Liberal elite of course…….but in Left Wing circles….such as the Socialists and Communists….you know, parties and movements who actually know that the EU wasn’t a friend of the working class…the message was clear.
We would be rather nieve to think that the Right-Wing media wouldn’t give more attention to a Right-Wing voice, as compared to the Left.

There may well be corruption in the EU, but from where I'm sitting our own government is far more corrupt.

Brexit has been a massive failure and only ideologue fantasists can possibly pretend otherwise.

'Make Brexit Work' can only mean rejoining the Single Market and/or Customs Union. Starmer is being disingenuous by pretending otherwise.

I’m not the liberal elite and I’m certainly not right wing. I’d love to know what Tony Benn would’ve made of the last six and a half years.

If Tory MP's were found to be taking £1m plus bribes in cash in suitcases, you'd be apolpletic. Yet, MEP's do it, and you look the other way. Corruption in the EU is endemic.

All I can say is, don't vote Labour if you want BRINO. Perhaps the Liberals, although currently they're lagging behind the Reform Party

Thank you Stroller. I was going to write this.

So many lies getting us out 35million for NHS etc. Trade deals in place, curb on immigration etc etc.

So much corruption since...PPE, lobbying.

So much idiotic behaviour...NI nonagreement, Trussenomics.

Yes but if Corbyn was leading us and we were in EU..so much worse.

Hard to imagine that tbh
