I couldn’t be more in agreement StainesIsn’t that the done thing.
Communism of course lost its way……dictators took over, subjugated the poor and took riches beyond their wildest dreams, killing millions on the way….but is capitalism any better ? Killed just as many I would think and created enough wars and dictatorships to suit their means.
I considered myself an Anarchist a few years ago and truly believed that kind of system could work….but realised that their will always be bullies and tyrants who make the system unworkable.
I wish I had an answer. Now I’m a wanderer trying to find a political home.

Yes, some Ukranians. You can apply the same argument to Jewish people living in Germany. Indeed anywhere is Eastern Europe.

Of course not all Ukrainians Goldie. But the systematic slaughtering of Jews in the Ukraine and its neighbouring states during WW2 was aided, abetted and gleefully undertaking by a sizeable proportion of the Ukrainian population, both during pogroms and the Nazi Holocaust.

It’s not that ironic. Just the inevitability of being jewish. If I go to basically anywhere, chances are the ancestors of those I met ****ed up my ancestors.
Respect mate. Just for me anyway, the Ukraine had a particular part in the horror of the Holocaust.

Millions of Ukranian's were murdered by the Nazi's and Stalin in WW2, Stainsey. The Nazi's wanted lebensraum, Stalin feared nationalism amongst the Ukranians.
The Ukranians that collaborated with the Nazi's bidding were a small minority, and many were under threat themselves from the German occupiers.

I tend to disagree about the tiny minority. Thousands joined Ukrainian Nazi militia (at least 280,000) and many concentration camp guards were Ukrainian (They even outnumbered the German guards at Sobibor by 10-1) And of course many who didn’t actually join those militias were quite happy to see the slaughter of Jews happen for their own gain.
Again mate, just google Ukrainian Nazi collaboration….
Of course the many Russians were also antisemetic and carried out appalling atrocities….another fact that should be acknowledged
I did look at Wiki. Says 100,000 collaborators, some under duress or risk to self or family.
4 million Ukrainians were murdered in WW2, of which 1 million were Jews.
There was the occasional psychopathic Ukranian camp guard, but this has to be seen in perspective. As we know, the real villains of this piece were the Germans under Nazi rule.
