I thought starmer had a great gag with 'boo's' but as usual went flat and had nothing important to say. The mentioning of the Queen stunk of desperation.
David Davis has just stuck the knife in.

Starmer was just tame party joke after another, I was waiting for someone to shout he’s behind you.

He’s mentioned the queen and Philips funeral previously at pmqs hasn’t he? I think it has to be mentioned as it does set out the mood of the nation at the time, however once is enough.

It's not normal for them to mention the Queen to add effect to a question. He knows that.
    However
David Davis will be the talking point now. He is another Tory that has a following of a few MP's. Before he got up and spoke I thought Boris would ride this... now that could be the killer blow.

Strolls, with respect, are you still obsessed by Brexit ?
And on your first statement I’d humbly disagree….in my opinion most politicians don’t in anyway have an ounce of integrity in their rotten bones…….the vast majority are in it as ‘career politicians’ and couldn’t give a **** about the public.
Gone are the days of good men like Tony Benn.

Something to do isn’t it. When you’re not at a party gotta have something in your life.

I explained that the other day.
    its quite simple...
Labour want him gone because they will never win with him in charge.
Tories don't have a proper relacement yet. Who will vote for Raab or a Gove? So it's a big risk to get rid of him.
Boris is a serial winner even when he is down. If he gets over this people will move on. That's what some are hoping for.

What does make me laugh is this defection... Is there no difference from a Tory and Labour now?

I disagree, i believe labour have a much better chance of winning with Johnson in charge. What won him the last election has been well and truly found out now.

Precisely. I reckon Labour would much prefer Johnson to fight the next election. I was thinking that today's defection may actually help Johnson to save his skin for a while, but I think Davis has now done for him.

This is where we will differ Bob. I reckon the Tories could put up a household brick and beat Starmer.
Interesting that after PMQs we had the government response to PlanB/restrictions and all Labour MPs could say was "blah blah blah Party"... talking about flogging a dead horse! Even a Tory MP mentioned it. They don't have any decent credible policies and as Boris pointed out Starmer has been wrong at ever important decision. That's what should hit home to voters.
When people vote at an election in 2 years I doubt they will be thinking of a party in 2020 but how their lives are at that moment in time. If all Labour can do is go on about a party then sooner or later people will get bored.

Totally agree….people are beginning to see through the bumbling persona and seeing the **** for what he is.
As Billy Bragg quite rightly said…. ‘just ‘cos he’s cuddly, he’s still a Tory’

    Hello young sir

Putin might get to annex a bit of east Ukraine, parts of the country not under Ukrainian government control now, claim a massive victory at home, the west sanctions a few individuals and sells more weapons to Ukraine. West has already withdrawn the threat of cutting Russian banks out of the international clearing system.

This seems to me to be much more about Putin’s waning popularity at home, the need for diversions. He knows the Russian economy couldn’t survive a ‘proper’ war.

If things start looking really dodgy for him it’s horribly possible that he could do something nuts. I hope not this time at least.

Did you say credible policies? As in policies a party would put in their manifesto to entice voters? Believe me, the North wont be voting for this mockery again. Once bitten, twice as shy!

The reason the North turned away from labour was because of Jezza and Captain 2nd referendum. As the country starts getting better they wont want to change.
