I not sure about that Stroller as I heard some bod on the news this morning claiming something similar. I think he said something like 90 odd % first dose and something about 46Million people... I reckon we can't be far off. I say it's bloody brilliant.

It's good, but what he said just isn't true. It's a lie.
It's typical of his casual relationship with the truth.
All he had to do was say, 'one of the highest in the world', but no, he has to exaggerate and lie.
TBH Stroller I have just heard another person on TV saying how high our vaccination is. It maybe down to the first or combined. TBH I not going to argue over who has and hasn't. WE should be bloody delighted that so many have had the jab. Thanks to this and the Rishi furlough scheme The IMF has today upgraded it's forecast and predicts that we will be the fastest growing economy.

Agree (and Staines will reminded me) there is still a big gap between rich and poor and this needs to be addressed. Putting our politics aside the vaccine roll-out has been bloody brilliant and after the initial cock-ups the vaccine will save many lives and livelihoods.
Forget Johnsons bullshit, its part of the norm nowadays and nobody blinks an eye over his lies. Our vaccination programme has been quite outstanding really whether we are top of the league or not.
I would say it’s all about how you interpret the figures and which figures you use.
For example, the official government website does indeed show that 88.2 % of the adult population has had a first dose (70.8% have had a second dose), however other statistical websites show the figure at far less than than that (69.7% first dose, 55.8% second dose)

NB Just seen what’s happened
The lower figure is the % of the entire population, not just adults, jabbed. But it is stupid and confusing to continually use different measures.
Ah ok mate….thanks. Makes more sense now. I wondered why Canada was up top in some sites so guess that’s due to it being the whole population
