Off Topic The Politics Thread

At a time when Woke activists are trying to undermine and remove funding from a popular new topical debate channel, it's perfectly fair to look at the record of the cancel culture activists, which is wholly negative. This is a politics thread. I've made fair comment. If anyone disagrees, let them articulate their arguments in favour of cancel culture. "Utter bullshit" doesn't take us far.

I expanded on my, sincerely felt, but as you say, not very helpful, 'utter bullshit' comment.

I said you were part of the problem, which you are. You label and dislike the people you name wokes as they name and dislike people like you in turn. Thats your perogative and we have all fallen into the blame game at some point. Is what it is here on, like you say, its most likely permanent.

 

There seems to be a cacophony of rubbish being spoken again. Its sad when people cannot debate they have to throw in the racism/far right line.

 

I dont think youve been following the conversation very well Ellers. Re read through it all, you might grasp the point being made.

Im entitled to my opinion and explained why i have it. Doesnt mean im correct, just my opinion. Im pretty sure i have a good scooby about you though, as do the majority.

 

Bring something along nextime barring insults Ellers and i might start to take you just a little bit seriously.

 

Brexit is about positivity, wordwide trade deals and hopefully good relations with Europe. It's Woke that introduces the cynicism and negativity, including the Left wing media. This is what right wing media criticises.

I for one hope we make a success out of brexit. Its happened, whether i wanted it or not is irrelevant. I certainly dont want it not to succeed as that would just be stubbornly stupid. I know people who are seriously pissed off from both sides of the remain/leave so its not just all left wing people.
