BUT I do agree with Ellers, the hounding is pretty poor and shouldn't be allowed.

Like I say, it's a case of right and wrong. If you send a message, from the top, saying it's ok to lie, it's ok.to fabricate stories to get you out of the ****, then what message does that send to society in general. Anyone who defends or supports these types of actions really isn't a pleasant person and certainly, I for one wouldnt want them in a teaching capacity with thoughts like that.

Can't stand Morgan but agreed with his tweet about would these same people be morally outraged if this had been a Corbyn government and the Cummings equivalent had done the same? **** no they would be baying for blood no doubt. I agree with Ellers too there is no need to be hounding the family, the only real justification for that is that we know Boris has already misled the public over this so can we trust the Tory's to tell the truth over this @bobmid stop laughing, so the only way the truth will come out it by investigative journalism, whilst I still don't think it's acceptable if the Torys stopped telling so many porkies maybe people might believe a word that came out of their mouths.

Second thoughts about Brexit? Quite the reverse. Apart from anything else, we would have had to pay huge amounts to support smaller member countries during the economic depression that's arriving. Money is going to be in short supply all over Europe including the UK

Like Goldy said, we have to take what Johnson says with a shovel full of salt. I presume that applies to everything he says otherwise how could one possibly differentiate.

Doesn't portray the anti-Cummings brigade in a great light, if this is their media poster!

I reckon even the most avid media right wingers like JHB realise that Cummings story has more holes in it than a slice of Swiss cheese and are willing to throw him under the bus for the good of the party.
I’m amazed that a couple on here can’t readily admit the obvious........and to be honest, I’ve lost a little respect for them because of it.

Yeah, that was particularly in relation to the Brexit talks, because he has one eye on sending the right message to the EU. I do think it's best to treat Boris with caution generally. I put him in the Trump, Clinton, Blair, JFK category. Not completely moral.

Of course, if he gets a good deal on Brexit, all the Cummings stuff (which seems have been defused anyway) will be forgotten.

    - but you haven't included the small print in the guidelines about discretion when you have children...

Basically, obey lockdown but you can use discretion depending on children's needs

Something along the lines of check in on your wife if she thinks she has it, go back to work when you decide she doesn’t, check on her again when you get home, choose the only option is to drive all of you to Durham because now you think she definitely does have it, wish your mum a happy birthday but definitely don’t spend time with her, drive home via a beauty spot on your wife’s birthday.

In fairness it wasn’t catchy enough for the main poster but we all knew about it.

Was it something like: if you have children and you think you might get poorly at sometime in the future then travel 260 miles away to spread any potential illness that you may get whilst visiting a local beauty spot. Do not seek medical advice to travel but do seek it on the return leg. If your eyesight starts to be a problem, drive for 30 or so miles to see how much of a problem. All this is fine if you have a child.

Not sure being used as a pawn to claim moral high ground for his parents’ actions was in his best interests.

Goldie you are trying to defend the indefensible. My mate couldn’t go and mourn at his mums funeral......I had to tell people they couldn’t sit in with their sick and dying relatives.....but Dom was ok testing his eyesight by having a drive 200 miles from his main residence
