I’m agreeing it’s probably not different. Just think firstly it doesn’t excuse the fact it keeps happening and secondly if it’s contributing to our inability to stop tens of thousands dying then it’s a bit more pertinent right now than in the past.

The left wing press may be having a go at him - I don't read it. It is an exceptionally difficult role. There will be an inquest into his performance in time. If he's followed majority scientific advice, he will have acted reasonably
