So the police are investigating Farage for saying he’d ‘take a knife to civil servants’......

But Jess Phillips isn’t investigated when she says she will ‘knife Corbyn in the front, not the back’

**** me, political hypocrisy is reaching new heights.

Footnote : Just before the usual suspects start their usual bollox..I am NOT a fan of Farage, just getting fed up of this constant hypocrisy.
He can try and take a knife to this civil servant if he likes <ok>

Is it, which ones ?
Are you now a mind reader, a psychologist, do you know me, have you met me, can you see round corners,
The answer to all the above is no, so stop assuming, insinuating, guessing.
Continue with your insinuating that I am racist, homophobic, xenophobic etc, and i will let the mods decide, you have been asked now your being told.

No one forces you to post as you do. No idea where you’ve got homophobia from though. I don’t recall us ever discussing gays. You’re getting yourself wound up over very little.

Let’s be honest Dan, the silly old ****er wasn’t speaking literally. Same as Phillips.....to treat one different from the other is the point.
Either investigate both (which is ****ing stupid) or investigate neither.
I agree. Poor phraseology but he should really think about what he says. Some poor sod got stabbed outside the Home Office last month - there's plenty of loonies who don't need any encouragement. But yeah I'm happy to accept that it goes on with both sides.

No I’m getting pissed off with your not so clever and down right obnoxious hinting as to my character, you don’t know me, you’ve never met me, and I’m telling you straight, continue to insinuate that I’m racist, xenophobic or anti Islamic or call my character into disrepute and I will let the mods deal with it, or if necessary take it further, last warning old chap.

Everything I post on here is pretty innocuous. If you get worked up by it that says more about you than me. What did you mean by referring to “Taliban Khan”, for example?

We’re all just Rangers fans after all, whether we choose to post about Rangers lots, sometimes or never.

Taliban ted khan from a newspaper report some time ago after he was accused of representing ex Taliban Al Quida members whilst still a lawyer, and having took the U.K. government to court over their decision to ban Nation of Islam leader Louis Farakkan from the country, not the first to call him it and won’t be last, that does NOT give you the right to alledge I’m racist, xenophobic or anti Islamic, you’ve been warned, end off.

A 16-strong knife gang targetted a group of young athletes in London’s Finsbury Park, robbing and threatening to kill the three white people in the group but telling the black people with them “You’re good.”
The six victims, while walking home through the eponymous park, found “They were being tailed by one of [the gang] on a bike,” recalled Adrian Klemens, a coach at the Dynamic Sports Academy, in comments reported by the Islington Gazette.
“Then there were 16 of them. They circled them and picked one [of the victims] off to the side and said: ‘Give me your phone or I will stab you — put in your Apple Pay password’,” Klemens continued.
“Out of our group three were white and three were black and they said to the black guys: ‘You’re good,’ and just attacked the white guys.”
However, the victim did not know the password, as it was mother’s account, and after getting it wrong several times was warned: “If you get this wrong again you’re dead.”
Fortunately, he had the athleticism to make a dash for freedom, escaping the potentially murderous group. The other two white members of the group had their phones taken from them.
The victims were young, aged 17 to 22, and the one who had to run for his life is now too frightened to return to the academy.
“The kid who ran off said he’s scared to come now — they threatened to stab him,” explained Klemens.
The coach suggested that the forces of law and order have a weak to non-existent presence in Finsbury Park, located in a multicultural area best known for its links to radical Islam.
“I’ve been running that sports academy for 13 years and I’ve never seen police,” he said.
Curiously, the Islington Gazette provided no description of the suspects, despite the attack’s racially-charged overtones.

Attempted rocket attack claimed as tensions increase

The New IRA have claimed responsibility for an attempted mortar rocket attack on a PSNI base in Tyrone earlier this month.
An unfired rack of mortars was found close to the PSNI base in Strabane on Saturday morning, September 7, and defused by the British Army bomb squad.

In a brief statement, the New IRA warned it would continue to target members of the PSNI and British Army.
“We will continue to train and develop our engineering capabilities and we will attack the Crown Forces at times and places of our choosing,” it said.
The incident in Strabane is believed to be the first time the New IRA have deployed multiple mortars designed to detonate at the same time. The rocket apparatus was made up of three tubes, each containing a warhead packed with powder explosives.
SDLP policing Board member Dolores Kelly expressed surprise at the “increased capability” of the New IRA and warned “political instability” had increased the confidence of the IRA groups and their ability to attract “new and older members”.
Last week, PSNI Chief Simon Byrne revealed that he had dealt with more potential threats since he took up his post in July than the former police chief did during the previous 12 months. He also noted what he said were new types of “engineering and capability” being deployed by the IRA groups who he said were recruiting former Provisional IRA Volunteers.
However, Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald said this week that she has not seen a rise in conflict in the north of Ireland in recent months. Questioned about recent attacks, Ms McDonald said that it is not new, and that “small groups of people” were only trying to “disrupt the peace”.
“That’s not a new thing. That’s being going on since the peace process itself,” she said.
Meanwhile, loyalist spokesperson Jamie Bryson has warned that the unionist paramilitary UVF [Ulster Volunteer Force] are watching Brexit developments “very closely”.
The blogger told BBC ‘Radio Ulster’, a traditional mouthpiece for loyalist pronouncements, that anger among loyalists over Brexit could lead to violence. He said that any deal that threatened British rule in the north of Ireland would lead to mass protests or worse.
“I would presume that the UVF will be watching very closely what is going on at this point in time and I would say that they will be watching for anything that weakens the union and the constitutional position,” he said.
“Naturally they will be watching the developments because as it goes many people, probably, within a leadership position in the UVF who will be working very hard not to let that anger spill over amongst younger people and there’s a lot of young angry people.”

Khan has responsibility for the Met. If he put as much effort into dealing with London's problems rather than peddling lies and virtue-signalling on social media perhaps some of these crimes could be prevented...

The problems in this country are rooted from well before he took over three years ago. I’d argue there’s far more the government can do to affect crime levels than a city mayor in that space of time. Fortunately Boris’ 20000 extra coppers will save the day.
