Funny thing is Staines was the one who made unfounded accusations and is having everyone running around trying to prove that Corbyn has a problem with Jews (which we know he has). Jewish Labour supporters have left the party because of Corbyn, that is fact.
. Joan Ryan quit Labour claiming the party has "become infected with the scourge of anti-Jewish racism".
. Ian Austin also left the party, blaming Mr Corbyn for "creating a culture of extremism and intolerance".
All on Corbyn's watch and there isn't smoke without fire. He is the head of the party and has done nothing to sort this problem.. why?
The easy ill-informed excuse is to blame the Tories, yet the tories don't make people within his party say the things they have.
But whatever, I lost interesting in debating Corbyn when blinded posters can't/won't see the facts. They won't believe the evidence. Corbyn has a problem with Jews.
I would also ask why people re so easy to dismiss the facts....mmm?

Tbh its all circumstantial. Similar to how i can call farage an out and out racist or how we can call moggy a snob who looks down on working class.

As goldie says you can look at the work of body and decide for ourselves what we think.

Not having a go but i believe this all started when you took a dislike to someone making a comment about the moggster.

Think you and stainesy/bob should abstain from talking to each other for a while.

You know what you were insinuating Ellers, so just be a man and come straight out with your accusations......trying to be clever just makes you look a knob........anyway, on to more important subjects.......

Will there ever be a boy born who can swim faster than a shark ?

I wasn't insinuating anything... my post was clear. You are sounding just like the right wing press and the tories that make slurs at Corbyn. :emoticon-0148-yes:

I quite enjoy the ****e that spills from Ellers mouth and enjoy asking him questions that he refuses to answer. I enjoy it when he then demands answers or apologies from other posters. I enjoy hearing about his pretend degree, his hate of everything EU related. I will always converse with him.

Mine was in sport & exercise. A load of ****e really.
I don’t believe that. I bet you got a lot out of it, even if not from the formally taught stuff. Even if you spent your time thinking it was ****e you will have improved your critical thinking skills.

Thanks for the response Turkish. With respect you’ve moved the goalposts a little, the most recent exchanges were about us ‘being forced’ to join the Euro after 2020.

I think I’m right in saying that no country has a veto even now, the Lisbon Treaty moved to Qualified Majority Voting, where each country has a vote weighted according to population size (so Germany, France and the UK have more ‘weight’ than anyone else). For anything to get through it has to have the equivalent of 65% of the EU population behind it, and 55% of the member countries. What we (and Denmark) have is permanent right not to join the Eurozone, and a number of other ‘opt outs’ including the Schengen area (Denmark, Ireland and Poland also have opt outs from various bits of EU legislation).

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opt-outs_in_the_European_Union

You can speculate that the EU wants to take these all away from us, and there probably are certain people who would like to do that, but there is no evidence that this is in train, and there are no mechanisms to make it happen.

Anyway, the discussion has been had, and won by the Leave side, in 2016. I can’t see any scenario in which the UK stays in the EU once we have got through the current mess, so it’s hardly relevant now, unless your concern is for the people of the 27 countries staying in. Once out, even with a trade treaty, we get our say 1 to 1 with the EU as a whole on any issues of mutual interest.
I will give way on this one then, but having spoken to a good friend who is a corporate /business lawyer he says although maybe this is the case that there are no visible mechanisms in place, the wording and way things are structured within EU legislation it is in his very well educated opinion that eventually it is the EU’s intention to remove sovereignty from all member states little by little until it is too late to do anything about it and for the EU to become the all powerful ruling body in Europe, and unfortunately for the EU in a fit of pique or rage Guy Verhofstadt let the cat out of the bag in the clip posted by I believe Kiwi.
So again apologies for not replying sooner, and I will bow down on this one for the moment, but will also remain a firm believer that the EU has many ulterior motives and also that they must in order to keep their future plans on track they must in the eyes of the current remaining 27 states and all future members seek to make an example of the U.K. solely to prevent any future countries trying to exit.
Also it is pretty clear in the Lisbon treaty’s wording that the council would like to see all member states eventually adopt Schengen and the Euro including those countries that have the “right “ not too, this goes back to my earlier comments on this thread, the EU is by nature a dangerous animal and will do everything in its power legally and otherwise to achieve this.

Agree It did start all over MoogFarage and it seemed to spiral into Corbyn and anti-semitism. I said recently that I wouldn't get into that debate and in hindsight I should have stopped Staines in his tracks instead of replying. That was my fault. Said many times that I like Staines as a poster and when I met him in the Crown he came across as a top man. When he posts I normally agree and will in the future. As for bob he is not in the same league. You are comparing Man City to Maidenhead. Bob is a cyber bully who does nothing but gang up on posters. That is evident in recent postings. He stirs things up and adds very little to the debate other than disguising his motives. I will always debate with Staines but you are right, bob needs a rest. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Good response. I’m just keen that we try to keep fact and opinion separated. I happen to agree that the ultimate end of some hyper Europhiles is a federal Europe, but I don't think it will happen (although actually it is the logical end point of this particular game), certainly not with the level of anti EU feeling and scrutiny prevalent across the member states at the moment.

A cyber bully! Wow that's some accusation. Best report me or something. You must have evidence on here to prove you're wild accusations! I look forward to seeing them. If you could kindly do that, it would be appreciated otherwise you should retract that accusation please. Oh and you should report me to our resident mods or whatever it is and they can then remove me from this site.
