I agree. Now as I said earlier, if there was hard evidence, say similar to that of deporting blacks by May with the windrush scandal then that would be interesting. Just compare the two for a second. Unbelievable really.

Let’s be transparent. I don’t like Corbyn, I don’t like his politics, I don’t like the company he keeps, I don’t like what he has done to the Labour Party and what I think he would try to do to the country given the chance. But that is my opinion and my prejudice and bias. I feel pretty similarly about the Tories.
Labour has a self confessed problem with anti semitism, which is largely down to ignorance and confusion among easily influenced people about the difference between being a Zionist and being a Jew, and Corbyn has been spectacularly poor at dealing with it. Some of his public utterances in the past are dodgy to say the least but I don’t think any of them conclusively prove that he himself is anti Semitic (or that he isn’t). He seems incapable of calling out old ‘friends’ who hold extreme positions, and his loyalties are where they always have been - pro what he would call ‘freedom fighters’. He’s a bit thick and very inflexible.
However, it’s equally clear that the continual attacks from certain sectors - the Tories, the Tory media in particular - are about undermining him and Labour, not from any love of the Jews, and that when you look at some of the attitudes of those attackers they may well seem to be equally odious. This is about politics more than anything else. The whole thing stinks from every angle.

All of this could have been avoided if the effort had been made in the first place to decide what responsible MPs would have supported and then propose legislation on that agreed basis. It is absolute cobblers to talk about the Establishment ensuring that Brexit never passed. Underlying all this is our own individual perceptions of how strong or weak the UK's bargaining position ever was. Brexiteers who say that we should leave without a deal do so because deep down they have always believed Europe would blink first and cave in to all our demands. Well they haven't.
Wanting the benefits of being in a customs union and/or the Single Market without paying the entry price was never going to happen. What would help though is for one Brexiteer MP to stand up and be counted by challenging May for the leadership. But so far there has been no sign of that. The excuse trotted out now is that it would damage our negotiating position and delay things further to have a leadership contest. What nobody has been able to tell us so far is how that excuses their lack of backbone to do the one thing they say she is incapable of - showing some steel and telling Junker/Tusk et al where to go - 'it's my deal, agree to it in the next 15 minutes or we're gone'.
I wonder why?

Funny thing is Staines was the one who made unfounded accusations and is having everyone running around trying to prove that Corbyn has a problem with Jews (which we know he has). Jewish Labour supporters have left the party because of Corbyn, that is fact.
. Joan Ryan quit Labour claiming the party has "become infected with the scourge of anti-Jewish racism".
. Ian Austin also left the party, blaming Mr Corbyn for "creating a culture of extremism and intolerance".
All on Corbyn's watch and there isn't smoke without fire. He is the head of the party and has done nothing to sort this problem.. why?

But whatever, I lost interesting in debating Corbyn when blinded posters can't/won't see the facts. They won't believe the evidence. Corbyn has a problem with Jews.

But quickly in a nutshell you are correct about us losing our veto, they cannot do that, however I am also right as although they cannot remove our veto what they have done which will come into effect in 2020 is to change the way the member states vote and how those votes count towards any decisions or laws, what percentage of votes count, which of 3 different criteria they will use to count said votes and how they will apply the results.
Go back and watch Kiwi’s post of Guy Verhofstadt ranting about sovereignty to understand what this actually means and signifies, basically they will in 2020 move the goalposts ever so slightly, they cannot remove our veto nor Denmark’s but they will change the rules / Laws on how it is used within the EU council.
So to paraphrase we won’t lose our veto, but under the new voting rules we won’t be able to use it.
They will let us play the game as such, but we can’t play it with their equipment sort of like me or you trying to play tennis against Roger Federer but we have to use a cricket bat whilst being blindfolded facing the wrong way.
Typical EU in effect, they will do anything they can to gain total control over the member states, even lie and cheat and bully and change the rules and regulations to suit their purpose, it is a predominantly corrupt organisation, a dictatorship in a different guise.

No I haven’t got a degree. 5 O Levels and did 3 months of my A Levels before I realised I was too thick/lazy to carry on and went to get a job.

If you read what I said I made it clear.... and yes I achieved a top grade in my Masters. I think I’m right in saying that no country has a veto even now, the Lisbon Treaty moved to Qualified Majority Voting, where each country has a vote weighted according to population size (so Germany, France and the UK have more ‘weight’ than anyone else). For anything to get through it has to have the equivalent of 65% of the EU population behind it, and 55% of the member countries. What we (and Denmark) have is permanent right not to join the Eurozone, and a number of other ‘opt outs’ including the Schengen area (Denmark, Ireland and Poland also have opt outs from various bits of EU legislation).

You can speculate that the EU wants to take these all away from us, and there probably are certain people who would like to do that, but there is no evidence that this is in train, and there are no mechanisms to make it happen.
Anyway, the discussion has been had, and won by the Leave side, in 2016. I can’t see any scenario in which the UK stays in the EU once we have got through the current mess, so it’s hardly relevant now, unless your concern is for the people of the 27 countries staying in. Once out, even with a trade treaty, we get our say 1 to 1 with the EU as a whole on any issues of mutual interest.
