Quite correct mate. Still don't to be fair. Thought it was just a straight leave or remain vote......but I was rightly dubious. Didn't realise it was a leave with a plan we concoct and negotiate a year or so after the referendum or a remain choice. Silly me, everyone else obviously knew!

In all fairness we were not supposed to be leaving until March 2019 anyway. All that has been happening is project fear and people saying we will fall off a cliff crap. The most important thing is to get out of the dying union.

Turkish wouldn't fall for any of those Tory project fear lies.
I’ve only ever fallen for two things in my life one was QPR when I was knee high to a grasshopper and the second was my wife, both in my opinion were worth falling for !!!
In regards to the other I didn’t fall for either sides lies and deceit I just did what I thought was right.
And I am even more convinced after 2 years that I was right to put my cross in the box I did.

As I have said before....I am man enough to own up and say I was wrong. It's just a shame others can't.

so you are still equating border guards to an EU army (not sure i mentioned they didn't want to create an EU army).

wonder if someone is going to have some humble pie <whistle>

1 last thing about the EU... i guess mine is scaremongering but do you think after we vote in for the EU, the EU is going to remain as it is or will it again expand its power. Now if we were talking about Europe being as one where there was parties we nominated and we had a breakdown in national barriers, that might be more appetising but we aren't, there are too many differences culturally and financially. If it was a common trading area, again that is fine, but that is not what it is anymore.

Next on the list maybe an EU army: only our EU president. This is probably a good thing for the UK though, we'd probably be providing a lot of the arms. Then again we'd probably be paying for part of the army in our contributions

Do you think this is just about border guards? <doh> I don't know why I bother with some.

That's what it says but I will bow to your superior knowledge on this matter. An EU army........and? If it is the case and they don't mean boarded guards or coast guards then what's the issue??

We're all doomed I tell yer!

Final call to save the world from 'climate catastrophe'

Media captionClimate change: How 1.5 degrees could change the world

It's the final call, say scientists, the most extensive warning yet on the risks of rising global temperatures.

Their dramatic report on keeping that rise under 1.5 degrees C says the world is now completely off track, heading instead towards 3C.

Keeping to the preferred target of 1.5C above pre-industrial levels will mean "rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all aspects of society".

It will be hugely expensive - but the window of opportunity remains open.

After three years of research and a week of haggling between scientists and government officials at a meeting in South Korea, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has issued a special report on the impact of global warming of 1.5C.

Nope .the latest link you sent was about an EU army and it's always been an EU aim (for juncker) hence my quote from 2 years ago.

However the previous posts you were quoting was about border guards.

Nowt to worry about, Brexit will fix it, probably have our own eco system separate from the rest of the world where we'll all breathe envigorating good old fashioned British bulldog air. No freak weather events for us or rising climate just trusty grey skies and drizzle. Our man Gove is on the case.

“ France are in no trouble at all”
Oh dear DT take of your rose tinted euro glasses and do a bit of research, France as with the majority of countries have adopted the euro, a make believe currency championed by the Corrupt EU. The Euro has failed in Greece, it is failing in Italy and when the euro becomes worthless just remember that France’s entire economy is based on it and when the euro becomes worthless so will France.

Nope that is just a U.K. outlook fully respected I am here travel throughout Europe a lot so I believe I get a good barometer

Italy has problems but they have had them for decades The north does not like the south and the North is where the wealth is
The south has become a real problem especially Naples yes because of immigration problems

The country is no worse or better than it has been

Greece to generalise that as a EU failure on a complex issue is daft Greece failed not the EU

France and Germany of course are the strength within the EU and both countries are very much more capable than the U.K. at running their economies

To believe that the mighty U.K. has somehow risen above by leaving the club is again crazy especially if you look at home first lads

The U.K. is a massive shop that’s all
Yes the EU needs it of course it does it’s the marketplace and nothing will be allowed to change there

The difference is in France is clear and Germany also if the governments fail the people get them out very quickly as these nations have never lost sight of the fact that governments work for the people

You cannot seriously suggest that is the case in the U.K. ? You have short memories of here as the scandals of the UK MPs has been forgotten? Yes there is corruption everywhere but in the U.K. it’s hidden away as it’s easy to control ... English people only like to listen to what they want to hear

Is there anyone on here who lives and works across Europe like me if so then these people are qualified imo to give a much more realistic opinion rather than copy and paste their U.K. media diets ... you are fed Bullshit Ellers and seriously believe this stuff on a daily basis ... it’s all recorded on here lads

Find an article that calls the EU Russians then post it and call everyone else wrong is the good old Anglo Saxon way

2 world wars and a lucky World Cup doesn’t make a nation especially when Thatcher sold the bloody lot and turns our great nation into a bloody supermarket

Look around you everyone you will see the chips on the shoulders of the U.K. people

Everyone has something wrong or a daily drama ... yep I am 100% right am I not

Back to my nuts

Whatever fella. You can try and worm your way out of your comments if you like. :emoticon-0148-yes:

This is just ill-informed rubbish. I wonder why you post it?
For your blinded information:
The UK is the first and the fastest of the G20 to make the target. Although they still need to do more to reach the next one. Many businesses still need to work harder. We have actually been doing more for this than most.

For example BBC News said German car manufacturers have put pressure on its government to keep using coal.
China has reopened mines as have US. Trump has kept his promise to create more jobs in that industry and basically tore up the climate agreement. There is also another country who wants out of the agreement and guess what....It's not the good old-fashioned British.

It's sad how posters have to use Brexit to fuel ill-informed rubbish.
