I have a bit of trouble sometimes.....Gut....Git...... will get it in a minute. I should have added I was forced to box because I was more scared to say no than get in the ring. After that self preservation took over.
That was a while ago now Plym so just about recovered. I wouldn´t dare to try to fight it now the bugger gets bigger every year
GAT is actually an abreviation of GreenArmyTart, the name she invented for the original 606 alas it got shortened and stuck.
I spent a couple of days (whilst bored ****less) at work trying to think of another name similar to GAT ie. FIF (Fletch is fit) GAT2 and several others but in the end decided to go with the Devonport chant.

Ok Sensible... my Grandfather was well known in the Gut in the old days ....past there few wks ago still the same but no atmosphere
See I knew she was a tart but when I sort of suggested it she got all tight shorts about it. Good job you didn't adopt the away end chant for the last few seasons as a user name. Going down going down going down......
But you are like twins and I get a bit mixed up sometimes. Gat sounds a bit like Mrs Reid sometimes. Honest.
I've been known to let one or two go in my time and have been refered to as such previously. Ladies of course never do...............

1961 - the GUT - there were 2, one in Floriana the other in Valetta - Straight Street, wherein lived Big Ben's Big Eats - nope never did and right at the bottom The Trafalgar Bar, being on HMS Trafalgar (old Destroyer, not the nuke sub) was our local, what you could get for 2s/6p you would NOT believe and that sometimes included a glass of Marsovin - not a drop sold till its 3 days old!! I could go on but I won't!!

Never been to Malta so not familiar with that particular Gut. Heard a few yarns though along with Silversands in Mombasa if it is surprising what you can get for half a crown. Anyway enough light swinging or the landlady will be shouting last orders and the muscle will be ejecting a few.
Why is this bar open if the landlady has been fired and there is no new licencee? Can we stop with all this name changing please I get confused enough as it is.
