Highlights????? What a total of 30 seconds so far this season then. Grow up and go along. Man City were on Sky so you could judge that from the comfort of your armchair along with all the other armchair football watchers. Highlights show goals and that is about it in league 2. You have no idea first hand what you are talking about but hey, lets not let that get in the way of an Argyle knock when the opportunity arises. People like you never change their spots along with their underwear. You may be allowed to remain on here despite being an arsehole but trust me nobody is much interested in your opinion.

My remarks were directed at brb and not you Mrs Reid and my point is for him to bog off and patronise someone else. I would welcome everyone, well almost everyone, who wants to come on here and join in but people will do it out of their own choice rather than us touting for business.

I know that sensible but I think he was just trying to help in his own way, like I said I don't mind critisism so long as it's constructive which it was. You are right though you could tout for England but unless someone wants to come on here there is little you can do - after all it's their spare time to use not ours.

I kinda like things the way they are, it feels like an extended family but I guess to the powers that be that isn't the point.

sensiblegreeny - my last post on this topic and you can then give me all the criticism you like <ok>

I happened to look in on your board and a question albeit not asking me, was raised in regards to your board numbers, I responded in an attempt to build a rapport with your members.

In other words I was just answering the question and nothing more than that - if you are happy with your community as it is then that's fine it's nothing to do with me.

It was just friendly (I realise now unwelcome advice) how you could attract more members, so fair enough I apologise and I'll go away and leave you to your board.

    Cheers Reidy, Schweeeeeet.

Ok, You win Sensible, I am In Devon early September, so I will look at the fixtures and make the effort to go and watch. As you said yourself highlights show goals and I aint seen alot from the team in Green hence me being a little confused to Argyle being better than the opposition!

Don't do symbols so metaphoric thumbs up also brb. It sounded patronising but I take that it wasn't meant to be and accept it as advice in a lovingly warm way intended. You have to know plymothians. They are the most apathetic bunch ever to be born and even the bomb up the ass sometimes has little affect. The only time we get more interest is when the never go to a match brigade decide it's time to give us a kicking and offer us the benefit of their wisdom or we are actually winning. The former being more usual than the latter. The above poster being one of them but he is a different kind of clingon. We are quite protective of our Mrs Reid so anything that sounds like criticism is met with a rally to arms.

I've just had another look at the pre-match thread v Gillingham. The only prediction on there from an Argyle follower was an Argyle defeat on Saturday. And, who do you think made the prediction. None other than (roll of drums) yes Mrs Reid. I think we need more posters on here who support our club. I'm off to write a thesis for posting.

Go and stand in the corner facing the wall and no looking round for sympathy either. Backing these poor young players is not predicting a loss. 3 points for the greens is all that is allowed even if you are fed up with being wrong most of the time. Don't forget you have to give Argyle 3 points at home to even consider being promoted. It's now traditional.

She'd never sit still that long Gat. Apparently Gillingham have a striker called Kedwell so we should be very afraid. I like your thinking though, who scores the OG? My money is on Cole missing a back pass.

:emoticon-0148-yes:Evening, well Sensible my match predictions are so wrong, as before the season started i Predicted 3 wins in the first 4 games. I will not predict on Saturdays match. At least the football is being played and not the hoof ball. It will all come together sooner rather than later with the team. But a win will do their confidence a big boost.

Well it can be anyone of the back 4 or Cole ...... I made a bit of a fool of myself last night, we had one player playing with the ball in our area and I was screaming "clear it" "clear it" ..... didn't realise I was shouting so loud until I noticed a group of lads 3 rows down had all turned around to look at me lol ..... ooops

Don't know if you have been able to go lately joe but yes the football is good. They will come good results wise I'm sure of it and yes a win would do their confidence the world of good and it is deserved. I know it is hard for some simpletons to understand that teams can play good attractive football, look better at football than opposition and yet lose a match. He will get it one day.

Not be able as yet, im afraid the baby was taken in to hospital again. He is home now.
Yes my mates went and he sent an email this morning to me and said like you all have stated. I did have it on last night and it seems all was good first half, But it seems the same old pattern we doo well the first halves and then start to fade or make mistakes. But hope fully it will all come together soon. Yes some people forget they are all young and doing their best under bad circumstances. I just hope they don't start calling for the manager to go. But i think on other forums that has started. That will make matters worse for all concerned i think. Have faith.

Well said Joe, we should all be sticking together at times like this not calling for the manager's head or booing.

Hope that lil boy of yours is better now Joe <ok>
