.CZ has seemingly always been labeled as a bit of a 'wrong un'. I was never totally sure where the blame lay during the 'Wotton incident' but I guess this kinds of proves that CZ has a tendency for this sort of behavior. Too much money too young perhaps - not needing to live in the real world and being able to survive by playing a sport most clearly love must all contribute to players going off the rails. I suppose most ordinary people(inc me) use football on a Saturday as a bit of a release-go and have a good shout etc , but if you are employed inside the game then where else do players turn to for their release from the day job, alcohol, gambling etc? BTW , not defending them at all but just a thought.
As an aside I have driven to Lancaster and back today(left at 0600) to deliver No1 son back to uni for the last time, I was sooo tempted to do another hour up to Carlisle-Thank goodness that for once my head ruled my heart!

I need a couple of beers and a packet of nuts please bar person. I've been painting the woodwork for the last two days and the knees have just about given in now. Along with the wrist that is. Tomorrow I have a treat to look forward to. Another day of painting. Deep festering joy. I hate this time of year.
I'm sorry Ginsters is a swear word in the world of pastys.......a sort of booby prize for coming last in the prediction league.....which thankfully I've never managed yet.
Being an exile I'm not into what is the best pastys at present.....but when old sensible wakes up he might give you a few alternatives.
A dog would not eat Ginsters.. surely.. I think Sensible said a few weeks ago its Pilgrim Pasties? never had one and not a pasty fan.. unless home made..so i know what is in it!!
Lets say Ginsters are very popular in the Philipines at Christmas. I would have thought you had more taste than that Atcham. Don't listen to Plym and his prediction league boastings either. Let you into a secret, it's his missus who does it and he just types it out.
Going to raise a glass to Bournemouth tonight as they are in the Prem baring some sort of freak accidental cricket score. What a season they've had. I love it when the unconsidered poke two fingers up at the fancied. Pity they may not last more than one season there but heyho they got there. Great stuff.
Yes they have been the best and most exciting side in that league.. scoring plenty of goals.. hats off also to Watford.. the bigger sides did not make it and Wigan could be playing us next season.. only a couple years ago they won the FA cup and were a prem side.. 
The lower leagues are littered with sides that were Prem previously if not recently. They have mostly taken a punt to get there and then a bigger one to stay there and failed going financially tits up in the process. I think the Wigan owner is somebody who isn't going to bankroll it so much anymore. Back to the real world for them then. There are a few others who are going to go the same way.
Your geography is a bit crap SB3, we are this side of the Tamar. Cornwall is the wrong side of it. Anyway we make better pasties in Devon, that lot have fish heads sticking out of theirs.
Whilst savouring a glass of the vino variety I've just been reading the comments made by John Carver on the Newcastle shambles and the resulting response from the good and the great to them. He reckons that at least one of his players deliberately got sent off today. He also apparently went to town on most of the team who he thinks aren;t even bothering to earn their wages. He himself is getting stick, mostly from ex players, because they think a manager should never rip his own players up in public.
I remember John Carver from his time here and to be fair the guy always seemed to be a reasonable chap and not the sort to shout about nothing. My opinion is that a manager should be entitled to say what he believes he sees from his players. According to one ex player he never knew of any player who wanted to get sent off. Oh really? I've seen a few who have done the most stupid thing ever and got a red and in my opinion have very much wanted to get sent off. Anyone remember the prima donnas at Southampton who virtually didn;t want Sturrock there probably because they didn't like the upstart and his methods. Not used to somebody who didn't massage their egos. I think a manager is perfectly entitled to blast players no matter who they are and what they get paid. I also think a club should be able to withold wages from players who they think deliberately made themselves unavailable to work. Currently it's the tail that wags the dog and it shouldn't be.

You will have a brilliant time Sensible .... I remember getting up to Home Park at 6.00am to get tickets for the Watford game .... it was good fun and everyone in the queue was sharing food and drinks .... was a bit of a downer when the box office opened at 9am lol

That's not even a time is it? I haven't seen that time of day for quite a while now and there is no way I'm going to be up and about even then let alone in a bleddy queue. PM is the only time of day I do now so it afternoon tea and a pasty then.

.......I don't go to bed until around 1am most nights plym so just do different hours to you is all. Anyway I left the house at just gone 10am this morning and walked to Home Park which takes about 30 minutes these days. Was in a queue for around 2 and half hours but got me tickets. Then walked home via number one son's to give him his. Bleddy knackered now and there wasn't even a pasty seller in sight out there.
I did meet a few pleasant people though which was nice. Had a chat with the brother of Lloyd Jones. He's the one who went to Liverpool as a youth from here. Young George was also on Argyle's books but got injured and it ballsed his chances. We had a great discussion about all the other youth players and he was telling me who he thought might go or stay. Won't say who as that would be wrong. He plays for Saltash now so will have to keep an eye out for their results. Very polite and pleasant young man and made the time go by without it being a chore.
