Although I can't find any confirmation,..........but it does seem that Blanchard might have picked up an injury during warm up yesterday, although he was still down as a sub.

I've realized why Argyle have poor second halves...............I listened to Fletcher being interviewed on Radio Devon after the match..........only 2minutes long...........but I'd lost the will to live before he had finished.............is that what happens in the dressing room after the pep talk from Fletcher at half-time...........2 goals down in the first 4 minutes suggests they need a whiff of oxygen after Fletchers pep talk to wake them up before going back on the pitch.

The reason we have a poor second half is simple. Ask yourself what time kids come out of school and they are always tired then.

Perhaps at half time Fletcher could organise a nap for them, we could always ask the league for a 30 mins break for our babes lol

sensible...........I wish my grandchildren where a little less high octane when ever I pick them up after School.

I still think the problem is that Fletcher sends them into a dazed stupor after 15 minutes of half-time riveting talk........they need a quick breath of oxygen as they leave the dressing room to bring them back to life.

I've noticed that there is a lot of unrest on the Stoke website...........talk of players falling out with Pulis...........that it is time to sack him...........the players having a meeting with the owner.............maybe he'd like a little quiet job down the west country for awhile to recuperate.

newportnitwit........I realize that result are falling off ,......... but why the anti-Pulis feeling.........is it the way he wants to play or who he picks etc.

I just remember the the way he got Argyle to be hard to beat, when he was thrown out by the previous owner, and he came down to Home Park.

But returned the moment the present owner took over and brought him back.

We are desperate for some of that hard to beat style at present.....3 years of plummeting down the leagues.........quicker than a rat up a drainpipe.........yet still fantastic away support traveling further than any other club......our local derby is 70 miles and then it just gets harder without a local airport anymore.

Plymborn, he has spent over £90 million and we STILL play crap football.

When I lived near Plymouth and he was made manager, an Argyle fan asked ne what he was like, I said as you, a super fit side, hard to beat, effective but you WON'T like it!!!

Suppose it IS EXACTLY what you need right now.

Listen mate, if you are winning or rather not losing and knocking on promotion doors then HOW you play is never that important. we could do with a Pulis right now and he was nothing but good here. With Stoke, they were all happy enough with the style when getting to the premiership and were happy enough to stay there playing it. Now however having established themselves as a premiership club that all flies out of the window and people start believing that they are Barcelona or rather should be. He has spent £90m in how many seasons? I don't know the answer to that one but if it is more than just this season then in premiership terms that isn't a fortune and his management has earned the money to allow this spending in the first place. He is still not going to get Barcelona calibre players for that mere pitance even if we common folk think it is a fortune. If you were No.1 playing this way then you would again be happy. Supporters are swayed by success rather than the purity of the beautiful game. You are established in the premiership and have dabbled in Europe for the first time in a very long time. Other teams hate playing you. What more do you want for F*** sake. Swap with us if it is that onerous.

Not touchy at all. Rather than tell me that why not have a go at persuading me that my argument is pants.

What I think sensible is saying......newportnitwit.............is what you see as the pits at present..............to us would be the the height of unbelievable success..........and if our manager had got us to those dizzy heights would we be wanting to stone him out of Town just because the style he has created is just a tiny bit boring, and he's only spent £90 million.

2007/8 Coca Cola Football League Championship..........who came second and gained promotion to the the dizzy heights of Sky's Honey Pot the Premiership..........Yes thats right Stoke City.

If you look down that same League Table........in tenth position.......15pts less then you.who do you see............Plymouth Argyle.

Four seasons later Stoke are still in the Premiership.

Four seasons later Plymouth Argyle our 92nd in the league, 5pts from safety and just out of administration and penniless.

Maybe sensible and myself can't quite see the problem that Pulis is being blamed for.

Nor can he if you look at the Stoke website plymborn. I wasn't incidentally trying to say something I was saying it as I see it without flowers. I was tempted to post it on the thread on the Stoke site where this was being discussed but firstly newportnitwit was considered a WUM by them for his post and secondly it was really none of my business what they thinkof their club and manager. Only reason I commented at all is because it was on here.

Sensible..........he only posted on here because I commented on what I had seen on their website about their feelings towards Pulis at the moment.

I just felt I'd like to taste some of their so called sorry state at present.......I could just about live with it.

Anyrate sensible........... how about the pickled onions ???
