Then here's a second Sensible. I once worked for Boeing and the founder was called - you got it - Bill Boeing!! He used to wander around the offices (he was in his late 70's, bright as a button and very very rich), he like having a 'chat' with us Brits. Anyway - he was a down to earth guy and he would tells that nobody really wants to eat 2 breakfasts or we all put our pants on the same way!! BTW I voted Labour all my life Until Blair became leader of the party!! Now if you want to talk about obscene earnings, let's talk about our Tone - or not!
It doesn't matter who is in Downing Street oldnicky, obscene pay is obscene however you dress it up. You make it sound as if Labour are all for the common man and by that token presumably Conservative only for the rich. Fact is in whatever Country you care to name the Politicians are all, without exception, out for their own ends and it is a myth that they champion one or the other. Our Tony is just an example of this but one who did not hide his greed as well as some others. Now his wife should rename herself Miss Piggy as her nose was never out of the trough.
Think you are missing my point - no matter, I am not going to spoil a beautiful evening by disagreeing!! Night all
Just had a look at the leagues out of curiosity of course. Exeter are as bottom as we are but, if we were in the same league, go on just imagine, we would be above them on goal difference tonight. I think I might just treat myself to a small beer and a large pasty for my tea tonight. Not very exotic I know but bliss in my book. Have one on me everyone.
Calm down Mrs LaLa...........a win..............but we need our two most experienced players on the pitch............especially Larrieu for crosses..........shame that Hereford won as well. Maybe Guilfoyle has stirred up the players.........he has certainly stirred everyone else up thats for sure..........do your worst Guilfoyle.
Didn't we beat D&R away about 10yrs. ago 3-0 or 3-1 in the same league after not winning a game for a while then actually won the league with Luggy? Cheers Sensible
Sensible...........sneak into your cupboard and shout a little .......Yippppeeeee..........go on you know you want to.
Sparksie was on about beating the Daggers away the last time we met. Apparently Good Friday. I am quite capable of shouting yipee without going into my cupboard plymborn. Anyone would think I had a reputation for being a miserable old git or something. YIPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! there you go and I'm sitting in my frontroom.
That is definately a much better outfit mouldy. As long as you keep the fly zipped then there aren't any pubics poking out the side and you can leave off the brazilian. You wouldn't think we got 3 points today, it's like the Marie Celest in this bar tonight.
We may have won today - just, BUT I don't really see there is much reason to celebrate. We are still cut adrift at the bottom and until we start having more convincing wins the mood isn't going to change any time soon. None of the above is likely to happen until things are sorted elsewhere in the club. We badly need a decent keeper, striker and defender at the very least. Why isn't Larriou playing in goal? He is wasted in the dugout. Sorry but I think this is a false dawn, reality has now set in.
Strewth and you say I complain. Firstly we are not cut adrift at the bottom of the league. We are one win away from leaving the relegation zone is all. Cut adrift would mean numerous games away from that. Secondly, Fletcher has earned 7 points out of 12 whereas the previous games had yeilded one point from 27. We won today we didn't lose and I for one think that is a positive rather than anything else. Had we won 1 - 0 would that have been ok? Sure we need a couple of players and sure we need the buy out to be completed. But things are not as dark as they were a little while ago. Cheer up for god sake.
I take your point sensible but I do feel we are getting over excited about this win, a win (now let's be honest) I had given up for lost and was won with a penalty. As a manager Fletcher has made a good start, no doubt about that but the facts remain the same - we are seriously in need of some new blood. Hell we aren't even making the most of what we already have by playing Larriou - why not??? It's a good win but we have a lot of catching up to do yet.
