Glad to hear the little man is holding up joe. Nothing much changed on the Argyle front anyway. Same old next week comments but at least there is hope this time it might just happen. Same old scores on a Saturday. Same old plymborn being cheerful.

I'm a cheerie chappie really plymborn. I always put a small "p" in deference to your age. You know what they say though don't you. Little and often is better than pissing yourself a stream when you get to a certain age.

Were you born (ahem) perfect sensible (small "s" btw) or did you have to work on it?

Yep, little and perfect described me to a tee as they say. I also don't particularly think I am my username either. Well, some of the time anyway. Is plymborn your long lost grandad from WWI Mrs lalala? You seem to jump to his defence even when he isn't being attacked. Just because he creeps a lot doesn't make him immune to a bit of (erm!) banter from time to time. I know he is old but he can "banter" back on his own. Rule one at a certain age in life. Don't take life too seriously and learn to laugh at nature and what it's doing to you. I speak from experience there trust me.

Are you an "ample" lady then? Look,it is my duty to take the "p" out of plymborn. He was in the "other" Service. The one with the stockings as part of the uniform. Well that's what they always said anyway.

"All in ones"? You are thinking of Dockyard Maties in their boiler come romper suits. It is a well known fact that all new recruits either past or present into the RAF are "confused". If they aren't when they join then they are definately before they complete basic training. That's why they like playing with joysticks.

Tell me he doesn't pinch your tights in winter then? I never once used the "gay" word Mrs lalala. Now if you had said transvestite then perhaps I could have just about admited it. Nothing wrong with being gay but it is carried off better if you wear light blue uniform type clothing. Do you know why matelot's call RAF lovies "crabfats"? Bit of official history news for you here and if you don't believe me look it up. It's because when a sailor caught an unfortunate desease from a naughty lady abroad, i.e. crabs, it used to be treated with a light blue ointment which was the spitting image of the colour of the flyboys uniform. Not that I ever used that expression myself of course being far too PC for that.

I'll just slide out the back (Ooh Matron!) and leave you all to it then. You just know it's true though don't you and denial never solved anything. Next time he is home just ask yourself where your new tights have gone.

We all wore khaki abroad,Army,RAF............and the Navy still wore there little sailor outfits...........and played with their little wooden minesweepers............I have know idea why they did that in the 1960/2 era..........probably know one told them that the war was over.

Sensible, if it is your duty to take the "p" out of plymborn, then you should refer to him as 'lymborn'.

Has anyone else noticed that there has been someone commenting on Argyle stories on the 'this is plymouth' web site by the name of 'Anglo dutch?
Is it the same person as the bbc606 poster?

Also someone called 'ChezGuevara' has been commenting and to me he sounds like our very own 'not' troll'.
When he was asked "why he was so anti Brent and Argyle? Are you an exeter fan?”
His answer was “No, Thurrock. Can't wait for Argyle to play them in the Conference next season.”
