If the Scouse Gob is still in charge of Oxford next summer you can tell where sicknote will be playing next season when we release him.

Wow ….. just wow!

I thought the same thing, but see it as a positive (at least for us).

Gobbo the manager likes a player he has previously worked with - let’s hope that the likes of Reeves, Vetekole & even Fosu find their way to the Kassam Stadium this summer.

One small advantage of a new owner and (hopefully) a Championship budget is that we will not be reengaging these wasters.

Reeves will no doubt be back for his annual three game cameo around April.

Billy Clarke could make a permanent exit from Charlton Athletic before the end of the January transfer window.

The attacker has struggled to get game time this season after recovering from cruciate knee ligament damage in December 2017.

And Addicks boss Lee Bowyer – who loaned Nicky Ajose to Mansfield on Monday – has admitted that Clarke could also be heading off.

“I think Billy is interested in going out on loan,” he said. “It could maybe even be permanent, because he is up [a free agent] in the summer.

“He is back from injury now and obviously wants to play. He has been training every day for a while now. Unfortunately for Billy we’ve got players that are above him and ready to play. There is that competition for places.

“Billy wants to play football and I can’t guarantee that is is going to do that at the moment.”

With both Cullen and Reeves fit for Saturday, Clarke wouldn't even be on the bench.

For some reason @lardiman has not mentioned that George Moncur has gone to Luton … always rated him, good signing for the Hatters

Yes, sorry I missed that one. Been a bit under the weather for a while.
Will try to keep an eye out for other transfers in/out of our promotion rivals and make a note of them here.

HUDDERSFIELD. Very keen on speedy striker Karlan Grant at CHARLTON. Ideal for future in many ways. BRENTFORD also in and MILLWALL hanging around too.

Don't know anything about him, but Steve Gallen's judgment is sound. Presumably he's a freebie to replace Grant.

Loan signing. He has just signed a new one year contract. He was going to come in on Thursday night but QPR stalled as other clubs were interested. QPR are deciding what club to choose. He is small and quick so not a replacement for Taylor. He is more of a winger.
