Love watching the Paralympics more than the Olympics. Just the sheer effort it must take for the competitors to get to the level they do facing such struggles every day is just inspiring. Superhuman. All of them.

Couldnt agree more charlie. But just watched the 100 metres. Why so many white men?

Interesting theory on why so few black amputees competing? Not sure. Maybe running with 2 legs requires little or no money but blades cost large amounts. Maybe some of the Africans just can't afford the technology. Guess the Americans could but they don't seem to put the same effort into Paralympics as they do the able bodied stuff. Not sure shy though as other nations are streets ahead of them.

Agree about the name though.

Actually I do know why. Black and Africans have more problems with the fitting of their prosthesis than white people. Something to do with the muscle fibres growing too rapidly in the stump making fitting of limb a problem. I just forgot I knew that.
